Alot of cosmetic problems (rust, scrapes, dings etc)
Purchased the Everdure Fusion grill New on Amazon but there's ALOT of cosmetic issues but still passed QA tests!Heat/foil from inside compartment came loose and blocked the exhaust vent; probably during shipment so I had to figure out a way to fix the problem.Dents, scrapes and rusts from the exterior of the grill that made me wonder if it's a NEW GRILL ?! I will contact manufacturer and we'll see if they're willing to help me.

Very classy, beautiful looking grill, a few QA issues but backed by a great warranty.
The media could not be loaded. Let me start that initial impression was not good, with a few quality issues that I am sure would be addressed via the robust 10-year warranty but I wanted to put to use the grill right away and didn't want to wait.It arrived with the following functional issues:-one of the holes wherein the base attaches too was not fully drilled out-the grill would not turn-onIt arrived with the following cosmetic issues:-finish on the charcoal tray was tarnished-the pedestal tray that holds the grill was partially painted over to cover up some blemishes.-the user manual had an "oil" type stain on 3 pagesIs that the quality I would expect out a ~$800 grill, NO, but why do I rate this 5 stars? The grill is just plain elegant, very nice to look at, very well designed and it has a warranty that is unheard of.I have never owned a product with as robust of warranty as this grill has, as designed this is just an outstanding grill, the execution by the actual manufacturer missed a few points, but the actual concept and design are extremely classy and elegant. I am sure that I was not so impatient, IE I wanted to put the grill to use right away, that I would have had my issues resolved.I performed a video overview of the grill, but I must say that I really like this grill a lot, it's definitely an extremely functional statement piece.Besides it visually looking great a few items I like:-The rotisserie rod is stored inside the grill, as well as the hooks.-The rotisserie height is adjustable.-The rotisserie supports are concealed inside the grill when not in use.-All of the wires that control the rotisserie rotation are completely hidden.-The power cord is retractable, so you can-The heating element for the charcoal heats up quickly.-It can be placed on a table easily or taken with you in an RV without the pedestal for a very nice grilling experience away from home.I recommend with the caveat that you order this before you actually need to make sure you can verify everything is working exactly as you want it to.How I fixed my issues:-I plan on living with the cosmetic issues as they are extremely minor.-I drilled out the hole that wasn't fully drilled out in <10 seconds with a bit.-I fixed the power issue but dismantling the grill, opening up the power supply controller, and reseating the cable (Appears it became dislodged during shipment ).Thank you for reading, If you found this review helpful, I would appreciate it if you could click "helpful", thank you!

All flash no substance
Came bent but I ignored it. Rotisserie and ignition was easy. The everything stopped working. Forget about reverse searing steaks. Just avoid it

Very good for rotisserie! Beautiful design. Love the electric ignition system.
Great grill overall. Heavy sleek stainless steel base. It feels well made. The electric ignition system works like a charm and we don't have to soak our coals in lighter fluid anymore so the flavor was definitely better. The rotisserie system works very well, has height adjustability, and it turns itself with a flip of a switch. There's a few problems to consider though. The grate height is not adjustable so you have to figure out the right amount of coal to use to avoid burning the food on the grate or not cooking it fast enough. There's also no way to cover the grate like a traditional grill to trap the heat in. Also, the little cover for the base and leg is plastic which feels kind of cheap but it's not too big of a deal. It would be a perfect 5 if it came with a large cover for the grate and the grate was height adjustable. Maybe 4.5 stars.

Wrong description on the cover
The information shows two different covers.1 to go over the grill with stand1 to cover the grill alone without stand. This was not delivered as shown on the pictures.

Great looking grill with some design issues making it not so great at grilling.
The media could not be loaded. I have had many grills in my life. My family likes the taste of charcoal grilled food more than other. We currently have a Vision Kamado grill, but my wife thought it is too hard for her to use. When we came across this Everdure Fusion grill. She really liked the look and thought it is easier for her to use. On top of that, it has a built-in rotisserie. So we ordered with great expectations. It came very well packaged. The assembly was not hard at all. Right of the bat, I cut my finger from a sharp point on the bottom. You might think with the price of this grill being on the upper end, it would be built better than leaving sharp points on the bottom. Upon further inspection, there are multiple sharp screw ends stick out the bottom. By the time I had the grill fully assembled, I had three cuts on my fingers. The instructions are not that great, but it is fairly easy to assemble.Right before I start to load the lump charcoal in the grill, I noticed the left hand bottom vent is slightly bent. I guess the quality control department fell asleep too. When I put the charcoal in, I noticed there is not air inlets anywhere except for the small round charcoal pan. Right off the bat, I was thinking this is going to be a problem with uneven burning through out the grill. To light the grill, all I had to do was hitting the start button. It even turns the electric burner off all by itself. That is nice. Once the fire is started, it is a real pain the get an even fire through out the grill. The burning pan is not deep enough to hold enough charcoal to last but an hour or so. You can't stack the charcoal too high since it will be too close to the food. Even at the maximum height, the rotisserie is not high enough for even a large chicken. You are going to have problem with even a small turkey. The height adjustment is kind of useless since you really would not be using anything but the highest settings. It is very easy to load the rotisserie. The forks holds the food very securely. The locking mechanism is much better than the thumb screws used in the cheaper rotisserie setups. I loaded a five pound chicken in the rotisserie with ease. Besides being able to start and stop the rotation at a touch of a button, you can also control the direction of the rotation as well by cycling the switch.Anyway, it was not easy to get bird to cook all the way through without burning the skin. It is just a pain in the butt to get this grill to burn at the right temperature, and the flareup is the worst of any grill I have ever used. The design problem start to show more and more once the bird is on the rotisserie. The burn pan is not vented, and there is not ash collection anywhere else except for the center round pan. Since the ash just accumulates in the square pan, it would rise up in the air into your food if you mess with the charcoal while you are cooking. But you have to mess with the charcoal because it burns unevenly.Next up, is the steak test. I put a couple of New York strips on the grill. It was not easy to do since the steak sits too close to the charcoal. Getting a hot flame up without stacking up the charcoal high required a bit of small wood chunks. But when I get the flame up, the steaks would sits below the hottest point of the flame where the unburnt wood gas is. The grill height is not adjustable. So, the steaks did not come out as good with the Vision grill.Forget about emptying the ash during a long cooking session. This grill is stupid when it comes to ash collection. To empty the ash, you have to move the charcoal off the center first, then take out the top pan. After that, you have to flip the coil upward. If you get that far, you will be granted access to a tiny shallow pan about five inches in diameter. Well, that doesn't hold much ash. So where is the rest of the ash? They are in the square pan mixed with the charcoal. I guess you could just throw away the partially burnt charcoals along with the ash to make it easier, but that would make this inefficient grill even more inefficient. So far, I am not impressed with this grill. In fact, if it was not for my wife, I would just return it. The Vision Kamado grill is better in almost every aspect that matters to me.
