We really like the trash can, but received it dented on the sides. Nice trash can, but not happy with how it was received.

I bought it 7month ago and the mechanism to open the lid is already broken. I open it to see if I can fix this, to realize it a cheap plastic stick that open the lid and may break easily

I love this ! It’s not as strong but a lot comes in it . Don’t try to stiff trash in ! It may rip

First off this arrived with a huge dent in the front. The whole front was pushed in. Not just something little. I image it was damaged during shipping. I would put a picture but I already sent it back. Other than that it would have been a great looking trash can. I did try out the lid to see how it worked while I had it here. The sensor was a bit slow for me and sometimes didn’t pick up motion. I did like that you could hit the open button for it to stay open until you close it. I was also worried the ring you put the trash bag around would break. Had I kept it I probably would have not used the ring and put the bag around the actual can itself because of this and it takes more effort. The bags I have I had to stretch to get on. No matter what I tried you could still see the bag sticking out the lid a little. I wish it could be completely hidden. You did see it less when the bag was on the ring. Had this not been dented I probably would have just kept but now I’m debating on trying something different…

I purchased this trashcan and when it arrived, it checked all the boxes that I was expecting this can to check. However 28 days later, the lid stopped auto raising. I troubleshot it on my own a bit, unplugged it for 20 seconds, plugged it back in, manually raised the lid up and put it down many times, tried using batteries... I had no luck. As much as I hated to do it, I called customer support.My call was answered quickly and they were deftly able to find the script to walk me through initial "troubleshooting steps". Unplug it, remove batteries, plug it back in manually move the lid to 45 degree and see if it shuts... seemingly normal things. Then, once all that is done, the technician tells me to unplug the can for 8 HOURS then plug it back in to see if there is any change. 8 HOURS! Unless this thing has some heavy duty capacitors or cutting edge memory modules this thing should experience electrical decay within 20 sec. But, I complied, I ran the test as requested, fuming the whole time. Of course this was on a Friday, so I called back on Monday. I was asked to repeat the same steps except for the 8 hour wait. They quickly ordered my replacement lid and told me to throw the old one away when it arrived. The lid showed up quickly and has been working for a few months flawlessly.I still think back on that customer service experience and I all I can come up with, is that the representative was about to end his shift and did not want the hassle of getting me a replacement.
