LEGO Elves The Goblin King's Evil Dragon 41183 Building Kit (339 Pieces)

My daughter has been into Legos as far back as I can recall, but she doesn't really care for the "for girls" sets as much. The Lego Dragons have been perfect for her (age 9-10) - fun to build, fun to play with. And for a long time, she focused on getting purple dragons, fire dragons, and even the lovely dragon queen. In the words of Arthur Schopenhauer, "Life without pain has no meaning..." so it was finally time to introduce... *dramatic music* The Goblin King's Evil Dragon!This is a fun set, and weighing in around twenty-five dollars, it's considerably less than the "pretty" dragons. I guess it's not easy being green. Suggest picking this up before Lego stops producing it - these dragons really go up in price once they take flight!

This is a wonderful set, the Evil dragon is really large, closer to the size of the queen Elandra. the Rosalyn hideout dragon, is really small compare to this one. The advanced articulation and cool evil colors are awesome. The goblin king mini doll is also very nice. And cool goblins as well. Many amazing tiny details, great quality bricks and beautiful colors in the Elves sets!

My granddaughters absolutely love the Lego Elves sets. They offer mystical creatures mostly not found in the rest of Lego realm, ranging from fierce dragons to adorable but mischievous bat – kitten creatures. The sets show good creativity and I love watching my granddaughters’ imagination go crazy as the play with their completed sets. And when I say completed, I should mention completed in a hurry. When they get a new set in hand, they don’t stop until it is finished. I hope the Lego Elves sets continue on, as my granddaughters cannot get enough of these underappreciated sets….

Perfect. Just what i wanted. My stepson loved it, was a present for him. He is 7 and it wasnt too hard for him to assemble as long as he had someone to kind of point things out here and there. Got the blue/purple one with the launcher thing and elf girl for my daughters and they are 4,5 and they did it without hardly any help either. So it seems like it works for a decent range of younger kids as well! Features were cool and well thought out.Love me some legos. (We all know i buy my kids legos for me to play with when they go to sleep.....)

Great set, love how detailed the dragon is. I didn't know when I ordered that this dragon is slightly larger that the blue dragon in the water set, but like that and my daughter thought it was pretty cool that the claws individually move on this dragon. Happy with this set and the kids love it, Thanks!

Great design. The design is really sturdy except the thorns on his head keep falling off at the slightest touch. His wing and feet are really unique compared to the other dragon sets. My daughter loves Ashwing and immediatedly converted him over to the good dragons.

Definitely one of the cooler dragon-type sets in the Elves series! This is a wyvern style (2-legged) type dragon with lots of fun details like articulated claws. The kiddo had a lot of fun putting her together, and remains one of the favorites of the pack. The additional set components are fine - cute and in line with the overall mythology of the series but the dragon of course is the real star.
