Very loud, they should have a distortion level. Having volume from phone and the board makes speakers sound to loud. Word of advice to all buying this. Get a universal.power supply for laptops. The power supplies by them self's cannot power this device correctly. Subwoofer sounded ok again need the correct power supply to power speakers correctly.

This is a good board if used properly. You need a good power supply that has a clean delivery that will not add noise. A big battery pack will work well, if large enough to last a while in use. The sound is good and the right speakers make it or break it. Starting out making a Bluetooth speaker and a good lithium battery for power. Kept charged from a wall wart. I like it a lot.

Bought it because the driver board inside my Logitech z623 started getting a bit hissy. Now I have it setup with two onkyo bookshelf speaker and the old logitch sub(the original satellite speaker were trash) withit powered off an old laptop power supply. I can turn it up all the way with nothing playing and there is only a tiny bit of hissing, but nothing compared to my old setup. Hottest it's ever gotten is 95° F or 35° C. Had a problem with another cheaper driver that would get burning hot to the touch, but this one stays very cool. Sounds better than a $100 2.1 sytem so I'm happy. Eventually I'll make a wood box to house it in.

It hisses quite loudly if you don't happen to have it plugged in to an audio source. And the worst part is that everytime you unplug it, it lets out a LOUD pop through both left, right, and woofer channels. Also, randomly it will start buzzing and popping then return to normal after about 5-10 seconds. Sounds almost like there is a ground loop issue.

Have owned this for 6 months or more and still holds up great. I use it everyday in my work van too. Love it! Best amp I've purchased on here! The 3rd one I tried.

I use these to drive a pair of speakers and a sub in the arcade cabinets I'm building. I power them with some old laptop power supplies I had laying around.
