Everything works perfectly except that the gold nipple that it comes with does not work how a galvanized nipple will work. Just replace the golf nipple for a galvanized one and you will be good to go.

After reading several reviews about about leaking, I bought it anyway. Yes the threads on the nipple are straight, not tapered. That is so you have more room for error. I looked into getting a nipple cut and threaded to the exact length, but tried it the way it was designed instead. I did several wraps of thread tape and a liberal amount of white thread “dope” as well. Then gently tightened it in to place and so far no leaks.

Bought this to use over my stove, works great, easy to install. Price was good as well. Would buy again if I needed to.
