My senior yorkie LOVES these treats. I mix them in with her regular food so she eats it all. She loves the taste and the ingredients are very simple so you know what they are eating. Finally, it's a good quality and they don't really have a strong smell.

Air dried is crazy expensive but is so much better for your best friend. Dog’s breath improved, coat softer, she smells better and loves the food! I use as a full meal. No mixing, no mess, no disagreeable tummy issues. Had tried raw coated, freeze dried, mixing kibble with wet food….lots of diarrhea and half eaten bowls. With the Pawternative she looks better, coat healthy, and NO tummy troubles. Worth every penny. And bonus…5 lb bag more affordable than others (though, yes, still expensive).

I have two 14 year old Pomeranian Yorkies - a male and a female. They have both slowed down a lot recently, specifically my male, Squirt. My female is more active than he is but she has always had stomach issues and so I have had to be very careful what I feed them. Recently, I came across this food when searching for something healthy, affordable, and something that would help give my pups a little more energy.After a few weeks on this food, my male dog was acting like a puppy again. This food is fantastic for him and tolerated well by my female, Reba, too. After I kept running out of the food - it is expensive for us - I tried switching to another brand - instinct - to save a little money. It did not have the same effect as Grandma Mae’s so I switched back.I wish they offered a much larger bag than 3 pounds and that it was a little more affordable so I could just feed all 3 of my dogs this by itself. I tried using it as a topper for them but that didn’t work for too long. My dogs started to pick though the food just to eat this and I was throwing away a lot of dry food.Overall, this is a great product and my dogs love it. I am forever grateful to have my babies acting like puppies again and getting all the nutrients they need! Excellent product!

My dog loves this stuff but it's way too pricey to feed this alone. I use it as a topper or a treat. This food smells so good I can understand why he goes crazy for it! I just wish it was a bit more affordable and the price is the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

I have an English bulldog with tons of allergies, but these sit really well with her and don't make her skin itchy. We use them as treats for walks and training and she loves them. They're a good size but you can make them smaller if needed. Soft for her limited number of teeth so she can chew them, or she's feeling brave she just swallows them whole, but she would never choke on them because they're small. This bag lasted us 6 months, so it is worth the money for the amount you get! Smell isn't bad either, so it won't stink up your dog's breath or your house. Also, we've left the bag open for a couple days at a time and they never seem to dry out or chance consistency which is awesome!

One of the only treats my dog devours even after 2 years of enjoying them. She usually gets bored of treats after a few months and rarely comes back to a past treat with enthusiasm. She has never gotten tired of these and eats them regularly.

My dog isn't necessarily picky or anything but she went BANANAS for these treats! I bought 3 more bags.
