This brand has never let me down
Light weight and perfect fit if you buy a size smaller. I am weird when it comes to gloves anyways. I’m mostly a large but something about these in a medium when they start to break in fit perfect. The dura hide is the toughest I have used and by far my favorite. I have used them for general construction to fencing. They out preform in the maneuverability category but protect decently. Overall a great general use glove.

Comfortable/flexible/breathable leather gloves
After purchasing multiple pairs over 5 years, I will continue doing so.Price vs. durability is OK. Fingertip side seams tend to wear out after 18+ months of moderate use.The only knock is the durability on finger tip side seams, always a balance between flexibility vs. durability.

great all-around glove just not as much protection as the original's
I wear Mechanix gloves every day at work, just the Original or Fast Fit black ones and I love them. I figured I'd get a nice leather pair for at home and this pair of gloves has surprised me so many times. I've had them for 2 years now, never beat them up that much other than occasionally moving logs around in the fire which ended up being their downfall. I should have gotten the original or the M-pact, on the Fast Fit model the leather or protection doesn't go up the inside or the outside of the fingers of the glove except for the index finger there is just the stretchy material there probably to help them flex more to get them on your hand. It just so happened that I grabbed a burning log a little too tight and a little too long and it burnt holes in the stretchy part of the fingers of the gloves. It didn't burn me though, and that isn't the first time I've had issues with the protection not covering the inside or outside of the fingers. I'm going to be purchasing the M-pact model next because of the extra palm leather, and the leather goes all the way up the inside and outside of the fingers. I could do without the knuckle protection but it's an added benefit. The Durahide leather is superbly durable the leather is still as thick as it was the day I bought them, and absolutely the most comfortable leather glove I've ever wore. The only complaint I have is really with the way the Fast Fit model is designed. They are faster to get on not necessarily easier and might be just a tad bit comfier due to the glove being tighter on your hand, but they have less protection and aren't as durable as the Original. If you get the Fast Fit model, I would tell you to get them a size down from what you would get in the Original. The Original doesn't have the flex that the Fast Fit does so you can downsize the Fast Fit. The Original are easier to get on, but the Fast Fits offer a much better fit "Like a glove" so to speak. I would recommend any Mechanix product because I've used them extensively and they have absolutely saved my hands on more than one occasion!

Really like these for what they are.
I've been buying the Impact version of this glove for years now at almost triple the price and I destroy them when I could be using these for those jobs. I love the impacts but for the price I might as well be wearing actual gloves that last 4 years and not 6 months.I now tote 3 gloves: Wells Lamont for heavy work, Mechanix Wear Leather Impact, and these. These are burnable at the price yet durable at any price I can find. Daily wear and tear on one set of gloves while being versatile is impossible. I could TIG in these but not MIG. I can put these on to sweat piping, but not the Wells Lamont and feel comfortable making dime-beads. These are great daily gloves with great wearing leather that are just not expensive.I will wear them out but it's not going to be triple the cost to replace them. I'll get a thumb hole or I'll screw up and rip or burn through the back side but it's not a big issue. These are consumables and expected for this level of dexterity.Cons: Something about the leather I don't understand. I can climb rungs with bare hands or the Well's Lamont and not feel sketchy. These are slippery*. Not horrible but it's not natural grip I would expect. Heck, it could be all the crap embedded in them but doesn't happen to other "cow skin" gloves. Leather is made of cattle right? Is this mouse leather? I'd just rather climb rungs to do work without these gloves...or the Wells, which are fine.4 stars over all for a consumable item. Two a year if you wear gloves a lot.*I tried the fake leather and it is far worse. Do not purchase the fake leather gloves at all. Slippery, can't hold anything, rips easily, and you'll be buying them monthly in a work environment. Leather is not a limited resource and there's no need for fake stuff to save the planet. IMO, it's a cheaper attempt at making gloves and nothing more.

Best Work Gloves I've Ever Used
I'm very hard on work gloves, because I use them every day for all kinds of chores on a farmette, from moving concrete blocks to spending hours shoveling gravel, to working electric fencelines to mucking stalls, etc. Sometimes, they get soaking wet when working in the rain or covered in engine oil or bar/chain oil. I clean them and dry them the best I can and they're ready for more punishment. Tried many gloves over the years, basically every brand in every store locally. Two months is all I ever got from those gloves, and some of them were so bulky I had to take them off to accomplish certain tool manipulations. Kinda defeats the purpose of having work gloves. These Mechanix gloves fit perfectly and last more than a year. I always hate to get rid of them when they finally wear through (usually from puncturing them on sharp objects multiple times), because over time they mold to my hands and fit even better than new. The pair I'm wearing now is actually MORE than a year old, and they fit so well I hardly know I'm wearing them. Also, the gathering at the wrist is perfect -- enough to keep the gloves from coming off at the wrong time, but nowhere near enough to be uncomfortable. As I said, best work gloves I've ever used.

Very good working gloves
I'm a woodworker and foe my line of work these are great. I like this style of glove thin enough to still feel the work and tough enough to prevent splinters from rough lumber. This is my second pair. Got about a year out of my first pair with moderate usage.Things I like about these.-There's an elastic wrist band that isn't super strong that will keep the glove on you and for me wasn't annoying like some Velcro tabs that always gets stuck when reaching in pockets and stuff.-There's a little paddling on the back but it's not overboard-I have sweaty hands and found these gloves are breathable.-when they get wet they stay soft when they dry

Favourite gloves
Second pair now even though the old ones still get used after years of gardening and DIY and many washes. Soft and flexible and very strong. Material is faux suede and lovely to wear. Super quality and buy again should I need to but the last for years.

Super sprzęt.
Klasa. Lubię różne modele MechaniX ale najtrwalsze z nich to te z dodatkiem skóry naturalnej. Świetne do strzelectwa. Rekomenduję kupować o jeden rozmiar mniejsze i pozwolić im się dopasować. Tak robię od lat. Polecam
