Excellent Hiking Shoe
Not gonna lie here - out of the box they felt, well, less than (what I consider) well made. The traction felt cheap and the shoe was “eh”. The price was right in my wheelhouse so that’s the main reason for the purchase of this particular shoe. After using them for a few weeks now - these are great! They’re comfortable, excellent traction - no slipping - and very study on my foot. Will definitely buy again

Comfortable, supportive, and rugged enough for trails
Just put these shoes on, comfortable right out of the box. They are a *perfect* fit for size 9, and rugged enough for trail running even as a light shoe. They have an amazing amount of support under the ball of the foot, essential for trail running, and contrary to other reviews, aren't too stiff. The tread is perfect for trails. They appear to be well built, hope to get a few years of use out of them. And very affordable too!

Super lightweight shoe, very comfortable, good traction. Interesting wear
Last Update 03/25:These shoes have lasted a long time, yes the heal in one shoe failed early and the heal in the other failed sometime later, but the souls, the show itself are still solid. Seriously it's what 3/2025 so 2+ years of hard disc golf, hiking use and really only the interior heal failed, not bad actually. Annoying when it happened, but the fact that the rest of the shoe is in still great shape, that's something. I've replaced them with another pair!Update 11/23:The interior heal area of my left shoe has ripped. That is roughly 4 months of use, mainly playing disc golf as I’m a flip flop/barefoot guy the other 99% of the time. Company states they don’t have a warranty when bought through Amazon, and in reality they don’t have a set warranty, they take them on a case by case, that’s only if you buy direct, what???Original review 4 stars.I bought these as I needed another pair of non waterproof shoes for disc golf. These have great traction, they feel comfortable and are really light. Now, I did walk through 2 sticker bushes the other day and had a sticker in my front toe (from the top), so they probably are not ideal for off path hikes, but for on path hikes and disc golf, they seem great. My last pair of different shoes, gave me about a year before the soles at the toes wore down, so if I can get a year out of these, they will be an awesome warm weather shoe for sure.As always, i'll come back and update this if anything changes.

Well lasting wear
Broke them in slowly by only wearing them on nice days until my older pair needed replaced. Not a blister they are lighter than my older shoes and very cleanable, they fit great very comfortable. On cement if they are wet it can be slick but the overall tread is amazing. I use them as everyday wear and do lots of things I should wear boots for and these shoes are holding up very well.

Light, comfortable, and good for terrain
I was surprised how light these are. After walking a couple of miles, these shoes have good traction and are comfortable.

Great for backpacking
So much better than hiking shoes unless you are hiking in the snow. These are super light, super comfortable, they seem very durable and at 60$ on sale they are a steal even if they were only to last 4-6 months. I am 19 and a size 13m, I grew up with a lot of foot problems and wear lots of different shoes from Nike sneakers for fun and boots for work. So to find something affordable high quality and this comfortable for hiking and backpacking (I could see running as well) these are amazing

These are very good and last a long time.
The size is the right size. It fits perfectly.I have used Saucony since I was in 8th grade. That was 35 years ago.I have tried all other name brands and I keep coming back to saucony. This style lasts a long timeMy last pair lasted 2 years before they finally wore out. The grip is perfect for roads, grass, dirt/rock roads, and trails. The color is ok.The price was great because I dont buy shoes over 100.00 unless they are for my work as a first responder or on my farm. They are Light and perfect for running in.

Good looks, lightweight, and breathable, but many downsides
I'm pretty disappointed by these shoes. I bought them with the intent to go hiking around since my hiking shoes were getting worn out and I wanted to try out something lighter weight. After they arrived, I spent about a week breaking them in before going out on any hikes. Even after a week of break-in, the outsoles were still surprisingly stiff but I did like the lightness and breathability of the shoe.I take these out on a first easy hike (<1.5mi and less than 100ft elevation gain) and was not impressed at all. The grip is not good on even dry, flat rock. They seem okay on a soft path, but as soon as I encountered any wetness, the grip is poor. Wet rocks are dangerous with these shoes and I nearly fell a few times on that first easy hike just walking around.I'm not sure what Saucony means by "Trail Running Shoe", but I don't think they are suitable even as a "trail walking shoe". I wouldn't use these for anything that isn't on a paved path.I have since decided that these shoes are not to ever be used for hiking again and have relegated them to daily wear (office job) and the gym. They are okay for that purpose. After a month, the insoles and midsoles are still too stiff and do not offer much arc support. Standing around in these shoes gets my feet aching in 30 minutes or less. They are decent for the gym since they are lightweight and breathable.Overall, I would not recommend these shoes for any purpose. There are much better options out there.
