Original is great - very tastySpicy is great - but for me quite spicy - a little goes a long wayThe only complaint I have is that the two bottles I received have an expiration date of Oct 24. I will not be able to use the whole bottle of either since October is just a few days away.

Just meh.

Regular (green cap) is herby with slight flavor of garlic and cumin. Is definitely not over salty. I dumped about a 1/3 cup in one pound ground and did burgers for a test run. Sprinkled more on patties. Overkill on purpose. Not too oversalty. But close. On purpose mind you. If I did that with regular seasonings it would be inedible. Red cap. More pronounced cumin flavor but not at all overpowering. I use it for ANYTHING Tex mex. not really hot just a bit more kick so it’s safe for wimps. I tend to use the green cap on everything. Even just to add a pop to canned food, simple frozen dinners. But the red cap works too unless you don’t want a very slight cumin (comino) flavor on it. However, both are a nice mix of everything you’d probably use on most dishes so there is no one pronounced flavor from it. Well done Dano. I follow him on Tik Tok. Good visuals on amounts he uses on his own food. He invented it because he did restaurant work and most all premixed seasonings are very salty so you have to know your seasonings. He made this to be a go to without having to adjust flavors with different spices. A great catch all for people who don’t like to cook. And a base for people who do like me.

Dano’s original has entirely too much rosemary in the blend. I like Rosemary but not to this level. So unless you are a rosemary lover pass on the original. The spicy is a good product especially if low sodium intake is your preference. It’s just spicy enough and I use it regularly. It’s a very nice product. Pass on the original unless your recipe calls for rosemary.I gave it three stars to get your attention. The spicy would get five stars but the original gets a zero.

The absolute best and most versatile seasoning on the market, and for someone like me who's family has a history of high blood pressure, and I myself and on the way to that, the low sodium is a HUGE plus. The regular I use on literally everything. Meat, veggies, eggs, potatoes...it's all perfect! The spicy I use on meats as well for an extra kick, HOWEVER my favorite thing to use the spicy for is sauces...boy, does that stuff just add the best punch to ANY sauce I make. The price is high, but let me tell you, even sprinkling generously on everything I cook, it's lasted me almost half a year, I will be buying again, however, maybe that 3 pack with the hot chipotle yummmmm

I bought these because of the low salt content in them. I like to use rubs together to create different profiles and most store bought rubs have way too much sodium and when you combine them it’s WAY TOO salty! This works great. I take the package of powder out of Ramen noodles and use either the green top or the spicy one instead and it tastes much better and is healthier. Great on chicken, pork and steaks too!
