I am using it at my washroom to prevent my wife accidentally drop to phone to the toilet.

I use this every night. It holds extremely well.

This is a version of a thing that can be extremely useful and difficult to find, and it's listed to have several uses. However there is one construction feature that throws a wrench into some possible uses.========================The Praise (Stuff that's good)...========================+ Decently strong magnets for phones+ Very stiff composition helps it remain flat+ Soft plastic fake leather prevents scratches======================The Raze (Stuff that's bad)...======================- No mention in any product description that it blocks wireless charging=======================The Haze (Stuff to consider)...=======================* The package shows it can add magnetic features to any non-magnetic phone, but...* ...it blocks wireless charging* The magnets might not be strong enough for larger devices* When connected to a phone it can erase the magnetic strip on credit cards and other magnetic cards======Details======This is a simple faux-leather (platsic) covered magnetic pad with a 3M adhesive pad on one side. It can be considered generally compatible with MagSafe - Apple's fancy way of aligning the inductive wireless charging on a phone or other device to the charger coil while also holding the phone somewhat securely to the charger. 'Generally compatible' becuase this product has fewer, longer magnets than the MagSafe standard uses, and has no rotation key.For the primary purpose of holding a MagSafe device to another surface, this does a passable job. Stick the adhesive side to a flat, smooth, clean surface, and it will hold MagSafe devices against it. It should be noted though that the rigidity of the magnetic sticker prevents it from form-fitting to surfaces, so a well-textured wall is liable to create poor hold.The unspoken potential for transforming a non-MagSafe phone into something that can interact with MagSafe things must remain unspoken however. There is a habit for products that are metal C and O rings that stick onto the phone to then be attracted to the magnets, however these rings without properly-spaced MagSafe magnets themselves will often not hold strongly enough, and full rings will allow a current to flow from the induction charger and heat up.This magnet has proper magnets, and will interface with MagSafe pads. However if the phone or device has wireless charging, the metal plate in this sticker will completely block the wireless charging.=====Overall=====The requirement for a very flat surface - normal textured walls will not adhere well - and the metal plate that blocks wireless charging signals drops a star off. The lack of any pre-purchase documentation that informs potential buyers that wireless charging cannot be performed through this sticker is just a bit of a trouble added to that, which is why this review informs potential buyers of this.Simply removing the metal plate from construction and having just the platic and ring of magnets would solve both problems.If you have a completely flat surface to attach this to and don't need to charge through it, this will work well. If you plan to use this to convert a non-MagSafe wireless charging phone into one that can use MagSafe chargers, or to convert a non-magnetic charger into a charger for MagSafe phones, it will not work.

Extremely weak, will barely hold my phone. Look elsewhere.

It came with the sticky back exposed and dusty!! I can’t stick it to anything! Do not buy! Terrible quality control
