No, I use round eggroll wrappers for dumplings

Q: Can these be used to make Lumpia?

Best of Thailand wraps, are the worse I have ever used. They almost feel like thin plastic. Just order one pack, and you'll see for yourself, and Amazon won't accept returns.

Q: Can these be used to make gyoza?

I would say no. As I understand it, gyoza is a type of dumpling that is cooked. The dough is flour based and withstands the heat and moisture from the cooking process. Rice paper wrappers are dipped in warm warm for about 5seconds taking them from a dry fragile state to a sticky malleable wrap. Fresh ingredients are added and then rolled up. They are not cooked. I would expect that they would disintegrate through a cooking process.

Rice paper

It was great for making shrimp or chicken wraps .The one thing it was hard at first, to roll with our breaking.. I was watching a great chef on U- tub and she was making the wraps and gave a big tip, on how to use the rice wraps so they don't break.Just dip real fast in room temp water.. it works great my family is really loving the different things I am trying.

Easy to make

Just add anything to this wrap and enjoy it, you can’t really taste it , I even made rice stuffing with it.

Worst purchase ever. Even when wet the rice paper breaks. Unable to make anything with it.

These are hard to work with as they are very thin so veggies will rip them if your not very careful.

Great deal for how many you get

Usually in store you may get about 20 sheets or less for about $5-6. $12 for 150 sheets is awesome and I will buy again. Made tteokbokki, gf dumplings, and summer rolls. They're so versatile and with so many sheets it will be a while before I have to buy more. Plus they came completely intact and unbroken.
