Tivoli Audio PAL BT Portable Bluetooth AM/FM Radio (White)

This is my very favorite radio. It is not inexpensive, but it is a quality product. I bought my first Travoli radio over 20 years ago for the kitchen. I like to listen to Public Radio and wanted better reception.It was ❤️ love the very first time I turned it on. I loved it so much that I bought another one to have for my bathroom counter. It is great to listen to early news and interviews while getting ready for the day.The quality of this radio is hard to beat. The size is perfect! It fits practically anywhere. It also has a battery that allows you to unplug it and move it to another spot.If you want to invest in a Great radio buy THIS ONE! You will not be disappointed. When it arrives it is packed with meticulous care in a clever box!My old ones are still working! I just wanted a new one and I am enjoying the new updates!The sound is excellent and the volume control is very good, too!

Every device has its strengths and weaknesses. This Tivoli PAL BT has been the perfect solution for me. I was looking for a high quality FM/Bluetooth speaker to use at my desk that I could play classical or jazz at a low level while I work at my laptop. Important features would be high-quality sound played at a low level (to not distract my concentration from my work) and a small footprint (to not take up much desk space). Well, this is it. Pricey? Maybe, but worth it. Good value? Absolutely. It is expected to last a long time and performs like few others.

Liked reception . FM very good . AM reception better than reviews indicated . Blue tooth connected just fine .I like its portability . Battery longevity is good . Excellent volume . I have no dislikes . For the money it to me has good value . This radio excells where others are lacking .

The Tivoli PAL has good sound quality and is great to tote around the yard while gardening, etc. It holds a good charge. We’ve got a blue and red PAL which we love, but the pink color is too Pepto Bismally bright!

Great little radio!

I love the design, however, at about 4 months, the sound quality got terrible with constant static in the background. Poor sound quality is present when it is on both the radio and bluetooth speaker setting, so its not just poor reception. Unfortunately this occurred outside of the return window.

The hand tuning was easier than anticipated; I only listen to a few radio station. But AM quality was terrible. Buzzy weak signal right beside a buzzy stronger signal (coming from a station transmitter a few miles away) and annoying voice quality, with no way to adjust. FM sound was fine, didn't get around to BT pairing as AM was the dealbreaker. The unit is cute, but too expensive to bother with if it doesn't meet my needs. Sent it back. Also, Tivoli Audio corporate didn't impress. Device manuals have to be downloaded and manuals don't match the product images you click on. Made it hard to do preliminary research and then it was hit or miss to get the right manual to see if I could do anything about the AM quality. (I couldn't.) TA sees itself as having an Apple-like cool factor but they need to follow through.
