Just know that settings, and that it heats up quickly…
If you know how to cook, you can use this pan easily. If you use the bright red heat, which is the hottest, you will burn what you’re cooking. If you want to speed up what you’re cooking, you can turn it on to the red, which is the hottest temp, and then turn it off; put the lid on and it will finish cooking. You can put on a steak that is seasoned, then flip it and turn it off if it’s on the highest setting. It will come out medium rare or whatever it is you’re making like skillet potatoes. Basically, if you use it correctly, you can make a quick meal and move it along by gentle temperature, and turn it off to quickly finish. It is perfect in every way, but I wish I could put the whole thing in the dishwasher; not just the lid. That would be my only complaint, other than that you just have to know what you’re doing as a cook. I like that it heats up perfectly to the setting that you choose. Just be ready to cook within 30 seconds of turning it on, which I love!!! this thing has made up for an air fryer/toaster oven, and everything else you can think of if you know how to cook and how to use it. Just buy it and check it out, with a piece of bread, or whatever it takes to see how fast it cooks.

Electric skillet
I received the skillet January 5, 2025 and March 10, 2025 it no longer works. I would not recommend this product.

Poorly designed temperature control (Don't Buy)
Because of the way the temperature control groups the temperatures, it's difficult to pinpoint a specific temperature that you want when you're cooking. As a result, it's very easy to accidentally burn food that cooks quickly because the skillet may be anywhere between 5-20 degrees hotter than you intended it to be.For example, a regular dial would indicate the temperature every 100 degrees. That way, you know that the mid-point is 50 degrees and in between the halves are 25 degrees. But their range on the highest setting is between 300-425 degrees. That's a swing of 125 degrees. So the mid-point is approx. 362.5, which is weird but still doable. The thing is, they don't even add a line to help you indicate where the halfway point is. You've got to use your best guess.I bought it as a skillet to make pancakes and I'm still trying to figure out exactly where on the dial 375 degrees is located. I think it would be located between the 4 and the 2 on the dial where it says 425 degrees but it's really anyone's guess and no one should have to figure something as basic as "what temperature is this on" when they're cooking.Sadly, the skillet itself seems great (eg. distributes heat evenly, easy to clean, simple to assemble, etc.) but unfortunately, none of these things actually matter at this point because the temperature dial is designed so poorly, it essentially renders the skillet useless.Personally, I wish I had realized how frustrating this would be to use before my window to return it closed. Unless you're planning to use this for meats or things that take a while to cook through (and therefore don't require that much specificity with temperature), I don't recommend purchasing this item.

Good skillet, short life
We had this skillet for less than 18 months and then it died. The controller still appeared to work, but he skillet stopped heating. With that in mind...It did a good job of cooking. My wife did not like the controller. She felt that the heat was not consistent at various settings.Good non-stick surface. Easy to clean.Good vented lid.It just didn't last long for a little as it was used and as much as we paid. We will buy a different brand as a replacement.
