Does not work with Mac OS Ventura
Does not work with up-to-date Mac. All the drivers that I was able to find on the Web were old. There were not installation instructions with the device and none could be found on the Web.

Simple to use, but hard to set up
This is made fairly nicely, the materials used give it a nice look that doesn't seem cheap, but it's also not premium, which is about where it should be.In use it is great and reads cards quite quickly. The only real issue is the setup. The software came on a cd which I can not use as I dont have one on either my PC or my laptop, so I had to take the CD to my friends house so i could put the contents onto a USB stick to use.Once I did that, it installed fine and then I could use it.Value is pretty good, but it really should come with a usb stick these days or a QR code for downloads.

I was not able to make this work correctly with Windows 11
Try as I might, I could not get this to work with my Windows laptop. The card reader itself seems to work well, it lights up and even beeps when I place my card in it but nothing happens on my PC. The advert reads that it is driver free on Windows 7 or later - mine is Windows 11 but nothing seems to be happening when I plug it in. You do get a disk (to install the drive) for those with disk drives and Windows 10 or less but unfortunately I don't have a disk drive on my laptop. I have given this 3 stars because even though I couldn't get this to work, perhaps someone more tech savvy can!
