fit and works as expected - replaced 5-yr old battery that died - keeping a 10-yr old acer notebook going (runs linux mint, 99% used for internet stuff, only other replacement was ssd for the hdd some years back) - no regrets

My laptop battery stopped holding any charge, so I bought this to replace it. It works great and was easy to install. I love that it comes with a magnetic screwdriver. Needed to use long tweezers to remove and install the cable. It had somewhat warped with the old battery.

The batteries arrived on time. well packaged, and in good condition. ( I bought two. ) First, I want to say: It's important to "Prepare" these batteries for use! They do come with about 65% charge, but to ensure functionality, stability, and long life, you must take the initial easy steps which are outlined in the instruction sheet provided with each battery. Just after receiving my batteries, we lost power to the house, and I am very glad that I took the time to prep both batteries before use. Now prepared, I anticipate no future problems for the life of either battery. They both work very well. Highly Recommended!

Replacement battery for an old HP laptop. Battery was redesigned to make the fit more streamlined. This was a pleasant surprise. Did not even think such a battery still existed considering the age of the laptop. Cudos to Amazon+++++

Returning item. It fit into my Dell Lati 7390 2-in-1 perfectly.. But it will not charge all the way. When it arrived it was at 71%, so I charged it overnight and it went to 94%. I unplugged and let it run all the way down, then charged it. It only went to 82%. So I unplugged and ran it all the way down again, and recharged overnight. Again, only to 82%.Sorry, but 82% is not the new 100% and it not acceptable.I'll return to this review after the seller replaces it with an update.
