About 6 and a half inches long, the exquisite little guitar comes in it's own case with a display stand. Each wire string is attached to its own tuning peg, just like the real thing. I crochet character dolls (a craft called amigurumi). Soon to be completed "Wailing Wallace Gibson" will be so happy to play his new guitar at the Harvest Festival in his home town. ;-) Needless to say, I am very pleased with this little guitar.Update: oops! This review was a mistake! This guitar is 4" long and I returned it because, in spite of the quality, it was too small for my project. This review was intended for a similar guitar 1:6 scale.

This item was perfect for our dollhouse music room. Very reasonable price and item was very detailed/realistic, especially with the guitar case.

I'd bought a ''guitar lamp'' from Amazon. This lamp of man (made from pipes, playing the guitar), was a perfect gift for guitar playing friend. I felt a mini guitar setting close to lamp would be perfect, so I added it to lamp gift. He loved it and has come up with many possible uses for it. I was glad he opted out of getting his nose pierced so he could use it as a nose ring. He wants to either use it for dangling ear rings for his wife, or a pin, attach it to his hat, hot glue several to lamp shade, He has a standing lamp and says you can buy these already beaded hanging strands of small beads that are attached to a thin cloth strand...you can run it around bottom of lamp shade / cut to size/ using beads of hot glue you attach to lamp shade,: he may do this and then attach a few mini guitars to hanging strand.of beads. or hang one from car mirror. He took close-up pictures of his wife's mouth (wearing red lipstick) with her tongue stuck out a little with guitar laid on her tongue. I think he's going to buy a few and hang them with other ornaments on the Christmas tree to see if she gets the clue that he's bought her a new guitar for Christmas. The uses are endless. I have a guitar I tell myself I'm going to pick up again but haven't yet. I'm thinking of getting a mini guitar for myself, glue it to a magnet and stick it to my refrig that way instead of opening the refrig maybe I'll open up the guitar case instead. The uses for these mini guitars are endless. Got a child in college who's taking a guitar class ? Make her/him guitar earrings .

I believe this is the cutest thing, and a perfect addition to my project. It is beautifully made and I was pleasantly surprised at how lovely it is.
