Easy to Use - Hanging Option Great
Wanted to buy a green laser, 3-axis level for some home improvement projects. I had an old red laser one that was 15+ years old (Craftsman), but wanted an upgrade to the more visible green laser. The name brand ones at the big box home improvement stores were outrageous in price. My wife suggested I look on Amazon and we found this Takamine model that had good accuracy and some nice features that the name brand ones didn't have including a very nice magnetic hanger with 3-axis adjustments. Seemed like a reasonable price so we decided to give it a try.It works great. Really like the remote, the removable battery, and the hard case. But the adjustable, magnetic hanging device is the best feature. Purchased an inexpensive piece of steel, screwed it to my wall, and was able to infinity adjust the laser to line up all my grout lines in my shower. Very handy. The only real negative is that it doesn't seem to really turn off. If you leave the battery installed, it tends to drain. So between use, just slide the battery off and it does not drain.

Excellent product but without good instructions for full use
This laser level offers exactly what I was looking for, projecting perpendicular lines in 4 planes. I am just starting to use it, but it seems accurate and straight-forward. Unfortunately, product information was lacking with the product. Even the product QR code offered no useful information. Most of what I have figured out, I have done by reading the Amazon description, other's comments, and simply playing with the controls. The laser is bright, so be careful of your eyes and those of any children who may venture near.

Great product that can be seen over 100 ft away.
Awesome product. Really easy to use. Love the remote. Use it at a jobsite and got perfect lines for my wiring supports. Great for framing. Comes with everything you need except tripod.

Great unit for home projects
This thing works well. At first I thought the included remote control wasn't needed but I found myself using it quite often. It works well. I used to on a paver patio project. There are not many mounting options for it. I ended up using a spare camera tripod that shoots low to the ground. This unit has a 1/4-20 stud that's the same size as cameras use.Battery - lasts a good long time. I have never had it run out, even after several hours of continuous use.Why did I knock off 1 star ?The unit has a self-leveling system but it's range is limited to only a few degrees in each direction. If it can't auto-correct, it will blink the laser line to let you know. That's helpful, but it still needs to be leveled. In the end I purchased a cheap, stick on bubble level (round with a center circle) so that I could get the unit approximately leveled. They should include one with the unit. Minor thing but I thought I'd mention it.Usefulness: I initially purchased this for a paver project, but I have since used it to install our kitchen cabinets and a bathroom sink. I found myself going around our house checking the level on various things and discovered (from the previous owner) doors that weren't plumb, floors that weren't level, etc.I should also mention the build quality is good. Feels like a sturdy tool. I would purchase again.

Decent tool in the right situation
Works well but not great in sunlight. Best for indoors even with the green laser. Do like the fact that it has 2 horizontal beams which makes it versatile for different heights

Works well
Level lines are as good as my 3 foot level. Green lines are easy to see. Battery life is good. Used it for several hours continuously and battery was still near full charge according to its led status lights. Only minor issue I ran into using it was that you cannot get horizontal lines very close to the ceiling since the light source is at the bottom of the unit. Comes with a nice carrying case and several mounting attachments. Overall a good buy for the price.

Inexpensive while still providing value
TLDR; The battery sucks. I've had mine for about 7 months, I've used it for less than 5 hours total run time, the battery had a 50% charge before storing it. It's completely dead and will not take a charge. A new batter is $30. Else, no complaints. I would buy a more expensive name brand tool next time to not deal with the battery issue.I'm a tool snob to an extent. I love my tools to be in hard cases, I want them to be durable, and if they don't have a Bosch, DeWalt, etc logo on them and are the professional series models, I won't spend my money. But, I didn't want to shell out hundreds of more dollars for a more expensive laser that I would only use once or twice a year. I don't need one. I also didn't want to make a water level for my project, they require two or more people to use and are a pain. This laser did the trick. I love the magnetic hanger option, everything thing feels reasonable well built/ durable for the price point and I love that it comes in a case.I don't love that I went to use it yesterday after a few months and found a dead battery that wouldn't take a charge overnight. I suppose I'll be hanging art with a tape an 4 ft level like a pleeb as I will not be buying a replacement laser for something like that! Without a functioning battery... it is a paperweight as far as I'm concerned. But it looks pretty on my shelf. I'll pay the $30 for a replacement next time I know I have a project I need it for. There does not appear to be a legitimate warranty/ manufacture to contact - you have 30 days via Amazon, or you have to reach out to the seller directly.
