Accurate description, Fast service
Manual provides a very basic overview of the vehicle. While I would have preferred a bit more detail in certain areas, it provides enough information to give you a general overview

Everything but in-depth transmission work
Anyone who is familiar with Haynes and/or Chilton manuals knows they're an absolute necessity for someone who likes to tinker and do light repairs in their own, but may not have in-depth knowledge about mechanic work off the top of their head. Honestly, even the pros can find plenty of use having them around, even if it's just for torque specs, wiring diagrams, or those pesky "unique" situations that just about every vehicle seems to have, nowadays.

Handy to have if you're a shade tree mechanic
Should be good to show me how to tear things apart and find problems. My only real complaint was that it goes back to 1986 and talks about carburetors. It just makes it harder to find what I want for a more modern car. I can't believe they don't separate the outdated from the reasonably new models to simply finding what I need.It does include some wiring diagrams which will surely come in very handy. I suppose it's one step shy of getting the official repair manual from the dealer.

Very informative.
I use this manual to work on and understand my granddaughter 's auto. If I take it in for work to be performed I know a little more of what is going on with the help of the manual. I have found over the years that the only manual that gives better information is the manufacturer manual(that are very expensive). The information in a Haynes repair manual is one of the best out there.

This Haynes manual isn't as detailed as the older one.
This is a solid manual for an older Hyundai accent, and it thoroughly cover's many cases. It falls short on the sections for the modern accent, so I have to take to take two stars off . I bought this manual to help me change the ignition coil on my 2009 accent. Those sections are NOT as well written as the older pieces of the manual. For example there are missing steps for changing the ignition coil, which was ok for me since I had a general idea on how to do it, but If I was relying on this manual exclusively I would have been out of luck. It was also missing the correct cylinder numbering scheme for my year accent. I used the most recent scheme that was included and it was correct for my car, but there was no label indicating it was for my year vehicle. Basically a sloppy update to an older manual that is missing vital instructions for newer accent's. Worth a purchase if you have a general idea of what your doing, but definitely not perfect.

Because Chilton Sucks.
Not a bad manual. However I wish that they would make one more model-specific for the 2012 and beyond for the Accent. The design of it is drastically different from the previous models, after introducing the Windswept design specifically.
