Super-powerful magnet, great charger, sturdy & stable mount
I'm using this with my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, in combination with the ohsnap! 3.0 magnetic popit; their adhesive has generally made quite a strong bond to the back of my phone, but hasn't held up against the magnetic attraction of this mount. I was hoping to keep going without a case (easier to slip my phone in my pocket); but since the adhesive isn't strong enough to work with the magnet on this mount I've ordered the Everyday case from Peak design, and hopefully that will work like a charm while still remaining slim and pocket-friendly.

Anker quality! Solid, looks great, works perfectly and doesn't fall off the dash.
This product has been solid for over 6 months including the tail end of summer and I'm purchasing another one. There are many 1-star reviews of people complaining about the charger falling off the dash. After preparing the surface (small section of dash) with mineral spirits (can use 99% isopropyl alcohol) the 3M pad adhered instantly and is not going anywhere.

Phone sticks, but be careful about overheating
It holds the phone with MagSafe mostly ok, but if you hit a pothole it could fall off. The biggest problem with all these is my phone overheats like crazy. It may be better to get one that clips on to your AC vent. It will stay cool that way. With this one you could position it so your phone is lowered on to the vent.

Can't stand the heat
Unfortunately, the product does not stay securely in place when it is hot inside the car. I live in Florida and the product only works when it is cold. When it is hot inside the car, it constantly falls off the dashboard.

Exceptional with One Caveat
Having used magnetic wireless car mounts/charger combos in the past I was looking for a few things. I wanted it to function great as a mount first and foremost, I’ve used too many that would just slip when going over railroad tracks, potholes, dirt roads, etc. and to that end I’m amazed. Living in Michigan with our terrible roads, it’s not fallen once. The next thing I was looking for was obviously uncompromising charging capability, another win there. For reference, I’m using an apple first party leather case. It charges quick and snappy making longer road-trips worry free and without having to worry about fumbling for a cable while driving. The last thing I was looking for is usually the most overlooked, cable management. Obviously the system isn’t completely wire free. You need to run a cable from a power source to the unit itself, duh. However, this can look UGLY without little mounts to tidy up the power cord. Luckily, this item comes with four. Now my one caveat is this. The instructions could have used some text to accompany the otherwise serviceable manual. Had a bit of confusion but managed to figure it out within 2 minutes or so.TLDR: With a MagSafe case, the mount is flawless in both charging and phone retention but the instructions could use work.

Great Idea, Poor Execution - Surprising for Anker
I have been searching for wireless charging solution for my 2016 MINI Cooper for some time now that would put the phone in my visible line of sight (currently the only solution has been cup holder-based chargers). When I recently got an iPhone 13 Pro and saw one. of my favorite brands, Anker had a MagSafe compatible dash-mounted solution, I was really excited and waited for the product to go on sale. I bought it, and despite having a higher price (even on sale) than other similar wireless chargers, I knew that Anker would be worth the extra investment.Or so I thought - unfortunately, two major issues hamper this device from being the ideal solution for those looking for a wireless charging device for their car:1. Despite having a "powerful" magnet, this was unable to reliably support the weight of an iPhone 13 Pro. I think a lighter phone like an iPhone Mini 12 or 13 might not be as heavy and not cause the magnet to fail when the car inevitably hits bumps in the road, and not even major ones - even uneven concrete dislodged it several times and thank goodness I had a case on the phone to protect it. Now, I know what you're going to say - the case weakened the magnet (and you'd be right) - the case (a Spigen clear case that only adds 0.3 mm to the thickness of the phone) did weaken the magnetic grip a bit, but I also tried it sans case and still managed to get dislodged by bumps in the road. The fact the magnet is on the end of an arm exacerbates this, as the weight of the phone will cause the arm to flex and bounce, which will aid in dislodging the phone. I think if Anker could (depending on if it's technically possible) use a neodymium magnet(s), this might improve this scenario.2. Like a lot of these dash or window-mounted arms, this uses a suction cup with a lever to clamp down the suction cup. Anker even includes a thick rubber mounting surface (with very sticky 3M adhesive on the back) to mount to your dash. I cleaned the dash surface (which has a light pebbly texture) and applied the mounting surface, careful not to touch any parts after peeling off the protective film from the surface and the suction cup, and mounted it. For several days I watched it carefully as I drove, to see if the surface or the cup would give out first. Unfortunately, the cup gave out first, and slowly disengaged (while holding my phone) and that was it for me. After several failures of the magnet dropping my phone unexpectedly while driving, and now that suction cup failure after only several days, I cannot recommend this product and will have to go back to my cup-mounted wireless charging cradle which will unfortunately force me to look down for maps, etc. while driving (MINI Coopers didn't get CarPlay until the 2020 models, and mine is a 2016 so that is unfortunately not a solution for me but that isn't Anker's fault).Hopefully Anker will see this review and note these issues and come out with a superior version that addresses these shortcomings so I can consider this product potentially in the future.

Highly recommend
I love this holder/charger, and I don’t know what I’d do without it now. I have an older Camry and the dash is melted. Somehow I got this to stick and no other vent holders or any other ones I tried worked in my car. This one is situated perfectly so I can easily navigate using GPS on my phone, hands free on the steering wheel. I get a great charge too!! I do wish it was a little stronger with being able to hold in a specific angle or position, but it still works great. I’m glad I purchased this!
