Zildjian Reflexx Conditioning Practice Pad-10 (ZXPPRCP10)

I hesitated a little as the price is a little on the high side but once received I was more than happy with it. With two sides to the pad this is a great trainer for drummers.

This is a fabulous pad, the reason for not a 5th star is because practice pads are never going to feel the same as real drums, but this pad does a close enough job.

This is a great pad, that will undoubtedly help to improve strength and technique, but it’s massively overpriced - it’s basically two bits of foam, with different rebound qualities, stuck to a piece of wood.

As mentioned by other reviews, the adhesive is not good enough. One of the foam/rubber pads lifted off after a week. Very disappointing as playing-wise it is excellent. Poor build quality for such an expensive item.Edit: I’ve now had three of these. All have the same issue.

I only had this for two weeks, before the adhesive failed, and the softer pad started peeling away from the base. It was sticking up like a rubber pringle.So I pressed it back into place and put a weight on it for a day or two, but it happened again afterwards.The pad itself feels good, but if I have to repair it myself after only 2 weeks, then I cant recommend it despite Zildjian usually being a reliable brand.Now Im left trying to figure out what sort of adhesive to apply to fix this problem.
