This package of clips was a real deal. I liked them all. comfortable, different sizes and work very will with my thinning, fine hair.

These are mostly sturdy, elegant hair claws that can hold a LOT of hair - as long as you figure out exactly where to place them. I use them to secure thick, tailbone length hair into a French twist (that amounts to a twisted area thicker than most bananas, which is too much for most hair claws to hold in place). You have to try different approaches to securing that much hair, so it doesn’t tend up looking loose, lumpy, or allows too many wispies. I sadly broke one of this set, trying to force too much hair into its grasp (the strong spring separated and bounced away somewhere in my bathroom - as my glasses were off at the time, I still can’t find the spring, but when I do, it appears I can simply re insert the spring and the clip will again be useable). For me, firm all day hold was achieved by anchoring half of a clip in the untwisted base; the other half of the clip had the teeth go into the twist, not completely around that fat clump to the other side. Have worn these for three separate dress up occasions, and they have performed flawlessly. I plan on trying the smaller ones in the set, to anchor a half up style or bun in the future. Just be sure to place any clip so it can at least partially close around the hair - my error was to put so much hair inside, the clip couldn’t close so the spring escaped. Large hair claws aren’t always pretty, but this set certainly has lovely options. Satisfied with my purchase.

These are really cute and a great value for the price. They are thick and durable and hold my med-thick hair well

I got these for bridesmaid gifts… but they have a yellow tent to them like when you leave something in the sun too long so it makes them look cheap. Also, some of the pearls fell off of one before I even took it out of the packaging. But also, you get what you pay for so I can’t be too upset because the price was good! I just expected them to be clear.

Only dislike is you can see some spots where there's leftover glue

These were really cute, and I really wanted them to work. I have shoulder-length African American hair and had planned to use these clips with blow-dried stretched hair. However, just opening the clip was a cause for concern. The material it is made out of is too weak for use, which is said because the spring was strong and felt like it could handle anything. I managed to get one of them to put up my hair. The spring made it hold my hair, but the clip's handles were broken. The product also arrived to me with one of the pearls on the big clip running around loose in the bag.
