This fit my 2013 Silverado perfect . After I thought my orfice tube was bad , it turned out it was this switch . No freon recovery required , as this part has a Schrader valve that won’t let Freon escape .

It fit perfectly. Then it blew out 2 days later emptying all of the freon in the process. Perhaps the pressure was to high. No Oring was provided with this item and is surely needed.

Only lasted 2 months.
Started leaking Freon after 2 months, not made very well and didn’t have time to try to get a replacement from here.
