Worked perfectly on vegetables

Started using jalapeno and such along with the green peppers when I do my skillet chicken just for a bit more flavor. Jalapenos lack heat to me since I love heat and enjoy carolina reaper level heat if I'm just looking for a hot kick, but jalapeno does class up my skillets.And this makes it so easy to core them and prep them. So much better than using my knife alone as I had up to this point.

The actual tool works pretty good. However, the Amazon Listing listed several benefits, one of them being a "downloadable book of 25 recipes. Here is the exact language from the ad:Get the most out of your Jalapeno Corer Tool: Comes with a downloadable book of 25 recipes and ideas so the chef knows exactly how to feed your friends that vegetable you seeded.Unfortunately, after trying to get support from Amazon and Cave Tools by clicking many, many tabs, there is no "recipe book" to be had. There were several other cheaper tools available but I bought the slightly more expensive brand and was looking forward to getting the 25 recipes.

Been eating a lot of Mexican food lately and thought I would try some Jalapeño Poppers. Saw this tool, reviews looked pretty good, so I purchased. Tried it this morning. Unbelievably GREAT!!!!! Took about five minutes. It worked PERFECTLY on the large jalapeños, and on the smaller ones did a good job, but did split the cases a little, but not bad. And it was fun! I thought I was pretty smart doing this over the sink, made cleanup a non-event. Tried to show both the cores and the end result on a larger jalepeño. If you use jalapeños for any reason, whether poppers or a menu ingredient, this tool will make your life SO MUCH EASIER.

I was excited to try it on a few jalapenos and small sweet peppers. I was disappointed. The teeth didn't seem sharp enough to cut the flesh. When I turned the tool the flesh did not pull away from the sides, unless I turned more than six times. Even though the flesh might pull from the sides. I still had to pull out the flesh from the veggie.

I have been making jalapeño poppers for years and this is a game changer. I like my peppers whole and this does the trick. So easy to use and to clean. Love this!!
