FSPHydro PTM Pro 1200W 80 Plus Platinum Full Modular ATX 12V Power Supply (HPT2-1200M)

Well if their motto is "Power never ends" don't believe it. I had this power supply for less then two weeks running a celeron 3950, 8GB of ram on a H110 gigabyte motherboard with 1 SSD, a 6900xt and a rx580. Pulling less then 550 watts this "1200w 80 plus titanium" PSU should of been able to handle the load. Sadly it didn't and was returned promptly. I went with a 1200w Thermaltake and never looked back. Don't cheap out on your PSU luckily this PSU just died but it could have been worse.

Hook up went easily even with ribbon cables. Considering all my flight hardware, my flight sim is very stable. One review on the web said it can actually supply 1300 watts with no instability problems.

This power supply has been running for months under high stress without an issue. This is a quality power supply. I ended up losing a Rosewill and EVGA 1200w power supply under the same conditions and this one does it without any issues. I will be buying a second one because of how dependable it has been.

Just as the headline says, worked great for a few months and just stopped working. I checked with another psu on the same motherboard and power was working. Tried again with this psu and the motherboard would not power on. Contacted the USA customer support. Am waiting for a response in order to take advantage of the warranty. No response yet.
