I have a 12 year old (beige) Greyhound mix . Ever since I rescued him at the age of 5 months he had a very bad shedding problem. Over the years I have tried multiple products, natural oils, etc and absolutely nothing helped.I know, that every dog is different and responds to different supplements , but I just could not find anything that would remotely help.About 6 months ago I found this product and thought:"why not." My 6 year old German Shepard’s coat seems to be softer after the first 2 months of use . I feed him a home cooked diet , and add cod liver oil , but he needed more . I add the capsules to his evening meal, and he eats them right up . He’s not scratching at all , and his coat feels softer . I’ll continue to order .

Our boxer pit mix is very prone to allergies and recently we discovered she's allergic to lamb. This triggered a pretty bad reaction which left her with scabs and losing hair. We had taken her to the vet but all they gave was a (pretty expensive) spray for hot spots. That didn't do much so after a bit of research we decided on a change of diet and Omegeffect.After 3 weeks on the Omega-3 and her new diet (salmon based dry food) the change has been noticeable. Itching has subsided and her skin has healed pretty nicely. The most prominent change has been her coat which is a lot glossier and softer than in the past. We also got our little cocker spaniel taking Omegeffect and have seen same results on his coat. He actually loves the pill so much that he'll fish it out of his food bowl and eat it before he eats his kibbles!

I initially mixed the oil with my dog's food, and I noticed she loved the smell. That's when I decided to put the gelcap in the food as some sort of "hidden treat."My Apple-head Chihuahua loves it! When she finds it, she takes it out and eats it by itself. She chews on it and enjoys the oil and the smell of fish. She looks forward to the special treat.

I have given my these omega capsules for two years anchovies are the sole ingredient aside from the capsule. They do have a fishy smell. But it doesn’t last all say.

Well my poor German Shepherd has been itchy for years, when you would touch him you could see his skin ripple and he'd start scratching, his black lips have even turned pink. I really felt so sorry for him. After a week on Omegeffect his itchiness had abated by 90 percent, and after two weeks almost nonexistent. He doesn't like eating the capsules but if you cut them open and pour on his food he gobbles it down. I just wish it came in a pump as its a pain to cut the capsules open without getting sprayed in Fish Oil. Thank you for a truly remarkable product

I have a 15 years old male Chinese Shar-pei. For those who know the breed will understand that they require specialized care when it comes to the skin and folds. This fish oil has worked wonders. His coat is shiny and it has been exceptionally helpful with his joints. This is an amazing product for my geriatric dog.
