Life changing
The last time I felt happiness was over a decade ago. Times were simpler than they are now, life was a pure joy to live and I was but a mere carefree child. However, I grew up in a poor family where food was hard to come by. Parents would rather pay for their world renowned Q-tip collection than to feed their seven starving children, one of whom was myself. That was, until... Horace. He was our neighbor who was 97 years old and smelled often of steamed zucchini. Horace was a savior to my siblings and I when he one day noticed how starved we looked from the ribs that poked very obviously through our clothes. Now, Horace was a man that lived through the great depression and knew what it was like to be a starving child. His wife Henrietta was often cooking great smelling food that wafted throughout the the neighborhood, but unfortunately for us, Horace wasn't one to turn down a meal. While there wasn't ever any left overs for us kids, Horace always managed to buy us a box of cereal straws to keep us going through the week. These straws were cut into pieces of 7, each child getting their fair share of the morsels. We would drink spoiled milk from the family cow through these bad boys, each of us often getting sick. But you wouldn't see me complain, no sir. I have fully devoted myself to consuming nothing other than cereal straws since that first day Horace gave them to us. Since they were discontinued I haven't eaten anything from that day on. That is, until just a few days ago when I got my hands on these new cereal straws. I will never order anything ever again, even though I can hardly afford such delectable treats for every meal as I am already paying thousands of dollars a month in keeping up our extra storage space for my parent's collectable Q-tip warehouse... but I will have to make it work no matter the cost. I would even give up my first born in exchange for just a few boxes of straws, so do consider my offer.Thank you, cereal straws. I can finally eat once again.Edit: It's been many months since I first ordered this absolutely immaculate tasty treat. My original statement still holds true and I can't see anything ever changing my mind. I feel like god himself has come down from the heavens to bless me with this meal every time the box shows up on my front step, as sus as that sounds. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt Amogus, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 1:14

My world has been restored.
As a young lady, i used to sit at my play table and watch Bear in the Big Blue House with a little snack. This little snack could be anything: buttered noodles, cucumbers, you name it. There was always one little snack that I would beg, plead, and cry for on a daily basis. The pantry was stocked with multiple boxes at a time, and not a day went by without this little treat. One day, this little treat ceased to be in my pantry. I used to cry, “Mama, where did my delectable rainbow snackies go?” She explained to me the product no longer existed on shelves of our grocery mart. It had been discontinued. I cried myself to sleep every evening due to the loss of my little straws. No days were ever the same.Shortly after, the age of technology began. This boom of industry saw so much progress. Online petitions began for all sorts of things. Alas! There were numerous petitions regarding these straws! My childhood being not so distinct was a happy feeling for me; I would not battle this world alone. I signed these year after year with no avail. When, oh, when would my Froot Loops straws return from war?Clearly reader, you can see what these mean to me. I recently discovered Froot Loops has resurged my most favorite product. Of course, I bought immediately. However, I had my concerns. Would this taste the way it used to when I was a wee lass? What if this new age of GMOs and food modification (as well as a world where recipe modifying is not scarce) changed the way I would enjoy these treats?Well. I am happy to inform you, dear reader, these taste exactly like you will remember. Very crisp, with the same sweet innards. The colors are just as bright as they once were. These flaky, cereal snacks have not changed, unlike myself. Growing older is a hardship, but I hope I never have to continue on without my Froot Loops straws ever again. Thank you to whomever decided it was time to restore happiness to our floating rock.

Tastes just like they used to
In compensation for getting many more than 5, some will come broken, however it’s fine since keeping them in milk has always made them turn soggy, so they’re best eaten fast. But they taste just as they used to, and are just as crunchy too.

Oh, the Nostalgia
Used to love enjoying these as a kid with an old friend of mine back when these first came out. I know it's simply a cereal in the form of a straw and you just gotta slurp the milk to soften it up a little bit before taking a bite. I just love these things and was happy when these were finally brought back.It could also just be the nostalgia for me when seeing these. My old friend and I would ask our parents first chance we get- and sometimes compete to see how fast we could get the milk down with a certain number of straws. Sometimes, I just ate these as a snack when I was feeling the mood for it.Never thought in my years that the company that made the cereal straws would revive them. And boy, am I glad they did. Something I'll buy every once in awhile as a nice treat to have in the mornings~

Makes Me Miss My Childhood
Growing up having these as an occasional snack, I took them for granted mindlessly munching on them or using them to drink milk. After years of not having them, I realized they had simply vanished. Finding out that they were pulled from shelves hurt me. So I of course had to buy these immediately once I found out they were back, and they tasted just as good as I remembered.

Arrived broken in pieces
Most of the straws arrived broken in 2 or 3 pieces so it defeats the purpose of "straw". I'll save the broken pieces as snacks but the kids are disappointed. It's not an issue with Amazon delivery, the manufacturer should have added more cushion inside the snack box.
