Another good expansion
Adds new player characters, location tiles, scenarios and monsters, as well as new mechanics. Wothwhile addition to an excellent game. So far, these scenarios seem a bit more challenging, but still just as enjoyable.

Good game for a good price
This is a great Lovecraftian based game. It's card based, being what Fantasy Flight terms an LCG or living card game. That means you get all the cards for an expansion in a boxed set, rather than having to fool around with buying booster packs of random cards and hoping for what you want, or purchasing overpriced single cards from online gougers (like with a collectible card game). The play sequence is a bit odd and takes some getting used to but isn't overly difficult or too complex. That being said it should go without saying that this isn't a kids' game, dealing with themes like interdimensional horror, insanity, and alien monsters who are hell-bent on destroying as many humans as possible. Overall it's a great homage to the Lovecraftian mythos and has the appropriate creepy vibes, weirdness, and even a sense of frenzied urgency to its play style that one would expect when playing a lone character attempting to single-handedly save the world from an invasion of horrific interdimensional monstrosities. It is also one in a long line of expansions to FFG's original Arkham Horror game, so if you like this one there are plenty more expansions out there. Highly recommended for dedicated Lovecraft fans or those who just like creepy, weird cosmic horror themes.

Its an amazing game
I absolutely love these kinds of games. This expansion pack added awesome new characters and stories to play. If you are not a fan of long board games I would not recommend this product. But if you tend to enjoy sitting down with friends and family and fighting monsters I would recommend it.

Really, really good
AH 3rd edition is a bit of an acquired taste following 2nd edition and Eldritch Horror, and it isn't without flaw - the most significant being related to issues with the way the game scales with more players (it's balanced best with 3 or so - you really want to include additional blanks in the mythos cup for more than that.)But, with this expansion, I can confidently state that it's my favorite game of the product line as it strikes a great balance between theme, story, playability, and strategy crunch. This expansion provides enough extra content to significantly increase the replayability of the base game and I'm really looking forward to additional releases even more than I was before.

Tense and difficult to win, but FUN!
Everyone needs to be on their toes when playing this game. It is not difficult to learn, but everything needs to go right and good decisions need to be made to win.

Excellent expansion to the base game
This expansion is well worth the cost with 4 new scenarios, 8 new investigators and additional new content. Most importantly for me it also introduced a new doom mechanic, previously there was outbreak and anomalys only, this expansion includes a third way for doom to spread to the scenario sheet-terror. There is essentially as much content here as in the entire AH3 base game and I really enjoy all the new mechanics and new neighborhood tiles. If you are enjoying AH3 already I highly recommend adding in this expansion!
