Great product, very easy to use

Bought due to wanting to run network to another building. Works perfectly with no noticeable lost in speed. Easy to set up - connect to router using Cat6 cable, connect to another SFP connection, add power and that’s it!

I recently upgraded from a copper to an optical backbone in my home, and used these transceivers either end to convert back to the legacy copper trunks.They are easy to install, "plug & play", working well so far. Value for money was reasonable.

One of those items you never knew would be so useful! Once plugged in, it just works! No configuration required.I have used it to extend ethernet about 300m meters without issue.Another useful thing, is I use these to extend managed networks which have security embedded on - i.e. only allowing one MAC address per port. These converters don't add any MAC addresses or additional information to the network traffic, hence can't be seen by the managed network.

You plug them in and they work, not much else I can say.

I needed to connect a 100Mbit/FE BTOR FTTC modem to a router which would use PPPoE. The router only had 1GbE ports that were fixed speed negotiation so I needed a media converter to sit between the two devices that supported store-and-forward.I bought the version of this converter without an SFP module so I could put a 1GbE copper RJ45 SFP module in to connect back to the router, and use the auto-negotiation RJ45 port on the converter to the modem. It has been working flawlessly for 2 weeks now.
