As a beginner to this hobby, I found it challenging but not too difficult to finish. The color coded step by step directions are easy to follow. It was very helpful to watch some YouTube tutorials on how to bend and curl the paper before trying to do this design. The foam mat comes rolled up and takes some effort to get it to lay flat but it will look okay once it is flattened. The included tools and paper are way more than needed to finish the project.

this design is very small and intricate. The quilling strips are way to big for this design. I started and gave up from frustration. It is not an easy project as stated. The paper is so thin the glue makes it wet and hard to work with. I have been quilling for a while and this was way to difficult. It is better to make your own pattern and buy good quality quilling paper. I am going to purchase thinner quilling strips and try again

It was beautiful the box is plain and doesn’t show the picture which is sad. It was a gift. Looking at the box would show you the picture. The picture on the directions are small and black and white.

So I know how to do paper quilling but bought this kit so I could learn more. The foam pad that you glue the paper to, does not stick in the little lines. It was so frustrating I rather just do it on Cardstock. Foam moves too much.

Haven't completed yet. But it is fun to do
