Easy to setup, easy to install and connect to wifi and the app, works great!
We bought one to see how well it would work and it worked great. Thought we might like an auto feeder with a camera, so we attempted to try another brand that was impossible to connect to wifi. We returned that other brand and ended up buying two more of this one. I love how easy it was to set up and install the app, connecte to wifi was super easy compared to other brands. The app is simple and straight forward on setting up a schedule with portions and meal times. No longer need to worry about being home on time to feed our fur babies or them having to wait for us to get home from work. I love this product so much. I only wish this company made a model that has a built in camera as well and a multi pet model.

Easy scheduled servings!
I’m so glad I bought this feeder. My kitty tends to overeat so spacing our her meals into 12 separate times over the day is exactly what we needed. Now we d9n’t have to wonder who fed her or when! It does occasionally misfeed but a message lets me know in the catit application if the food did not dispense correctly. A simple dispense food selection has cleared it and on it goes. I have noticed changes to the schedule will display on both my iphone and ipad, however a change made on the ipad will not save on the iphone. After figuring that out I just make sure I do changes on the iphone. Not a deal breaker for me but it was slightly mystifying until I figured that one out.On the occaisional random mis feeds, I’m fairly certain its my kittie’s food. There are about half circular and half odd, not quite heart shaped morsels. She loves that food so I’m not planning to change it. Do check the morsel size, it appears the feeder will not dispense large morsels…. Must be 9 mm or smaller, or just about 1/4 inch. Oversize odd shapes are probably not going to work. All in all, highly recommended. My kitty gives it paws up!

Could have been great, but only worked for two days...
We purchased this feeder to have peace of mind while out of town on vacation for a week. For two days, it worked flawlessly, and we were able to see that our cat was being fed according to schedule. Upon checking the status of the feeder from the app on the third day, we found that it was suddenly offline. We phoned a friend to head to our place and check the feeder. It had completely lost power, and would not power back on. For the remainder of our vacation, our friend had to come over and feed our cat, which we had tried to avoid in the first place by purchasing this feeder. Upon coming home, we were able to verify that the feeder had indeed bit the dust. We tried the batteries and another cable/power adapter, but it was still a no-go, so back to Amazon it went. We will be looking into another brand, just because of how quickly this one failed.

Quick and easy setup
Setup was quick and easy! The app is also easy to use. With the last autofeeder, food would get stuck in the dispenser sometimes and I would have to shake it out periodically. That hasn't happened with this one. I also like the dispenser because I'm not as worried my cat will hurt herself when she sticks her paw up there to try and get more food. It's a bit hard to tell the portion sizes, but I just measured out a serving, then counted the number of portions until it dispensed the right amount and saved that in the app.

Makes Sure Cats Are Fed
I love these automatic feeders because they link with the app on my phone. I can leave the cats and know they are getting fed on the regular. I wish they had a recording so I could call them but they recognize noise it makes now. It also doles out the servings so they don’t gobble it all at once. My big boy still tries to break into the machine so I have to keep it protected.

In the testing phase for an upcoming trip
I'm scheduled to take a week-long trip in a couple of months and I didn't want someone to have to check in on my two very chonky calico cats EVERY day. So I wanted to see if this would be a good option to make sure they are fed in between visits. It was very easy to set up and to connect to my Wi-Fi (I have only a small data plan for security cameras and Alexa, but I DID have to connect my phone to the Wi-Fi in order to set it up, I would have liked if the feeder app could have looked for networks and then I could have typed in the password. I don't keep my phone connected to my Wi-Fi because of the small data plan). So far, my only concern is the portion size. To me, it seems very small. So I wondered if I am usually feeding my cats WAY too much (hence the chonk), but I looked it up and it seems cats should have about 1 cup of food per day, the Catit Feeder's idea of one portion is like 20 pellets, I doubt it even comes up to 1/8 cup. However, you CAN customize how many portions it spits out at each meal, so I changed it to three portions and set it to feed two meals per day (one meal every 12 hours for a total of six portions each day) but my cats still were acting hungry, so I upped it again this time to two portions, four times a day (one meal every six hours for a total of eight portions each day). Also, it's probably important to noe that my two cats are sharing one feeder. We'll see how it goes. I do like that even if I only use it after my trip for morning feeding, at least I won't have to get out of bed to feed them!
