This is a beautifully made box. It’s solid and has quality catches. I bought it for my granddaughter, but it’s suitable for adults too. I wanted an easel that would be portable (although solid does mean quite heavy). I have bought art materials suitable for her ability to add to the drawers. Great value for money!

A well built product. It was easy to assemble and is well made. It's great as a desk top easel and storage. A bit heavy for travel so handle will never be used. But all in all very happy with it.

Bought for my son who likes drawing. He mostly uses it for storage and the two drawers and top section are good for that. I am not sure why the top is hinged at the back as this makes it more difficult to access the drawers if you are using the easel but then the other similar models I have seen also use this design? The box is made of cheap wood/mdf and the drawers are on the flimsy side but overall it seems solid enough, however after a few days I noticed that the lid was not sitting straight although I am sure it was ok when delivered so maybe he dropped it/knocked it over but it took a lot of force to bend the hinges straight again so I would not say they were flimsy. Overall it is good for the price

This is a good product for a beginner.Its heavy and full of all essential artist items. They're also not cheap and tacky items, except the canvas is a cheaper version but it is still use-able and a thicker, more expensive type would not fit in the box.It has a lovely natural wood look and feel with a leather handle and gold locks and hinges. It is dove tailed joints.Only thing that would cause an issue if you were getting it as a present for someone is it does not have all the bolts needed for the easel part. They're just nuts and bolts though so easily replaced. I would check it when it arrives before gifting it.For the black Friday deal price of £49 it was a brilliant purchase. With added paper and canvases it would be a brilliant Christmas gift.The paint and pencils I have not used as its a gift so cannot comment on them.

The hardware is very poor quality, bendable cheap metal. The latches on the drawers are pointless, they do not hold the drawers closed. Is for a birthday present and don't have enough to return and request a replacement so will have to try and fix them myself. This wasn't a cheap item so really disappointed! Would not recommend.

Things missing , paint colours and brushes

I like the size the amount of storage and also the raw wood that can become a canvas of it's own. I bought it for my 8 year old daughter, she absolutely loves it and can carry it without issue. I find it well made, not flimsy at all.

For the price I thought this a well thought out and inexpensive artist sketch box with bumpers on the bottom and back side of the box to keep it off the table surface.The lid and base floor are thin wood veneer hardboard while the drawer floors are hardboard. The box and framework are solid wood and I like the way drawers and lid latch all together to make it easy to transport. The top drawer is deep enough to hold 150 ml tubes of acrylic paint and the 2 smaller drawers hold 59 ml. tubes easily. I like the way the bar holds paintings onto the easel and is easily adjustable by tightening a bolt. The easel height is adjustable by way of wooden supports and can be tightened in place with bolts.I'm using this as an inside box for art rather than painting outdoors, but I modified a couple of things about it. Without doing these it in no way lessens the usefulness of the box. I coated all the parts, lid, sides, drawers and wooden pallet with polyurethane because I'm a messy painter and prone to paint spills. I counter sunk the holes in the easel base to make the bolts lay flat against the surface.All in all I'm pleased with the box and think my money for it was well spent.

Bought this as a gift for my little niece, quality was beyond expectation.But when filled becomes to heavy for her, that being said the storage room is awesome & it has become her portable art station.

My daughter needed an easel but our craft space is sorta limited so I didn’t want a huge floor one. This is perfect. It allows her the freedom of painting on an easel and not worrying with trying not to smear her painting when it rests on a flat surface. It’s a pretty wood color, smooth easy to move and so very nice that it can also hold some of her art supplies. It’s an awesome product made an awesome gift and it was exactly what I was looking for and exactly as described and picture. It came right on time so seller was great to work with.
