Beautifully embossed
These cards are a lovely cream color of medium weight paper. The embossed butterflies on the front are lightly colored. They are perfect for writing any kind of note from "thank you" to "thinking of you". I keep a box on hand at all times.

Delicate and distinctive
This was purchased as a gift. Peter Pauper Press designs are delightful and the recipient loves the note cards.

Quality cards, neutral design
I wanted to find a note card I could use for multiple situations when a handwritten note elevates the situation. Many times it's a thank you, but these cards are neutral enough for all situations. The card stock feels much more expensive and the design also seems quite impressive for the price. Self-sealing is a nice bonus.

Note cards with universal appeal. David Cole Wheeler artwork Delight the people in your life!
These are wonderful! Very subtle artwork on a linen-like matte finish on the front AND back. There is an oh so right frame around the dragonflies. They look expensive. I'm a little particular about paper and ink on personal correspondence looking cheap. It seems as time marches on the things sent in the mail are on nothing special paper and written with a blue ballpoint pen. Horrible! I caught myself getting into the habit of doing that as well, buying cards at Marshalls or a discount store and writing with a ballpoint pen. It doesn't have to be that way when card sets like these from Peter Pauper Press are handly. I also use a uni-ball Signo pen and my notes come out so much nicer, and I am never caught in a pinch. I like to show respect for the people who get my notes and this is a way to get it done. Blank inside is the way to go. The upper inside of the note has an indentation where the artwork was stamped, which matters only if you intend to write on it. You don't get that on note cards which cost $80 a boxl. Also the illustrator is top notch although much of his work is children's books. You will not be sorry for buying these and treat yourself to a pack of these pens while you are at it. They cost $1-2 dollars each and come in other colors, refillable.

Classy Notecards
Really nice notecards, just the right size for a quick personal note of any kind. Classy design. One star off for the self-sealing envelopes that won’t want to release their protective strip, and also for the flimsy box that stores the cards and envelopes which will get repeated use.

Gorgeous -- will be my signature notecard
Pro:- Linen finished paper on the outside and he inside has a smoother (but still slightly woven) texture. It's a detail such as this that makes a product looks high quality and refined.- Color looks better in person than in the photos. The body of the dragonfly is purple and darker than the photo that it the dragonflies some weight/balance- The dragonflies are embossed (silhouette is slightly raised on the paper) and there is some intricate gold foiling on the dragonflies themselves- Classy, elegant, fashionableCon:- The notecard is kind of small, not your standard 4x6. I don't have too much to write, so I think it's perfect for a classy conciseI will purchase this repeatedly in the future and make this my signature note card
