This toy is definitely worth buying if you’re looking for a compact register. It has a lot of features that I was looking for (moving conveyor belt, scanner that beeps, cash register draw, working microphone, etc). It was also a good price. My grandkids love playing with it.

This is the second play cash register I purchased. The first one I bought at a thrift store for my granddaughters to play with when they play at my house. It was already used well, but worked. I had it for years, then slowly things didn't work. I wanted another one. My eldest granddaughter is now a teenager and I now have 5 granddaughters and the youngest is 2. It is played with so much, they all live in my town. So, it has been so long , they don't even make the color I found years ago at that thrift shop! IT IS A FABULOUS TOY!!!

This cash register has lots of fun features my grandkids have lived like the moving conveyor and the price scanner and microphone (though that sound quality isn’t great but I don’t expect it to be. But one feature that they liked was the credit card “approved” pop up when you slide the card. I gave it to them when they didn’t the night and the pop up has already quit working. Didn’t last long at all and they’re so disappointed! Should have lasted longer than a day. But overall, it’s a great little toy with so many fun parts and they really enjoyed playing grocery store! Fix that pop up and you get a 5!

This toy is so cute. I did a lot of research before I bought it. I kept reading that a lot of them have terrible feedback on the microphone. The microphone on this one works and does not have that awful feedback! The beeping noise it makes is pretty loud so bummer for parents but thrilling for the kiddos lol. My daughter likes how the belt moves and using the scanner. It's not the most sturdy item ever, the cash drawer on the unit we recieved is a little wonky and does not open all the way without tugging on it....but overall it's a fun toy. Worth the price and my 5 year old daughter loves it.

It’s a gift for my son, so I will update if by some miracle he doesn’t like it. I love it! The conveyer belt alone will make this a favorite, but there’s also the microphone, the working calculator, the credit card reader with lights and sounds and the scanner that beeps and lights!!! I could not recommend this more highly. This is from a mom whose 3 year old loves helping her check out at the supermarket.I read a number of reviews and the company seems to have responded to at least one recurring complaint. I did not need a screwdriver to get the item out of the box — just a few twists.I also appreciate that it came with some starter batteries installed, so it’s ready for the big surprise.I’m nervous that the conveyor belt will stop working (based on some of the reviews). If that happens, I will update. It seems pretty strong so far, and I did a little test playing before I wrapped it up.

I bought this toy cash register after lots of research- the fact that it was voted best on the internet helped with my decision.HOWEVER apparently I have very different expectations when it comes to quality and functionality.Some things that were pointed out in the negatives in the reviews here are true- 1) the chord for the scanner is so short that it’s almost pointless- however (and I’m sure the makers with disagree) if you take the cash register side off (screws on the bottom) and you take the back off the scanner, you will find a knot in both ends of the chord- when untied, the chord is more useable. To prevent “pull” which is what I think they were going for, I put hot glue on both ends where the chord comes out of the toy. 2) Also note that the scale does register, but with very heavy items only. 3)The bar codes on the items do not work...they do not put a dollar amount on the screen and the “scanner” on the conveyor belt has to be pushed down in to get it to beep. 4) Also note that the convey belt is very loud-and so is the “pop up approved”. 5)The drawer barely opens. It can be pulled out a little farther than the spring ejects it to, but it is not that easy to get to the money (which is very cheap looking and feeling - the coins have different values printed on them, also in blue, but they are all the same size and are 10, 25 and 50 cents and the paper money came bent as it was in the bottom of the little basket. 6) The 4 items that came as groceries are all cardboard and held together by tape (plus 3 are junk food items) 7) the microphone speaker is under the toy so it’s barely audible 8) the little basket that comes with it is also almost pointless- when you put the 4 groceries inside, their is barely room for fingers to grab the handle, which because their is only 1, the whole basket tips.I really am very disappointed in this toy.

Bought this for my 3 year old granddaughter. She loves it! All of the features are great. It seems durable and I can see her playing with it a lot. We play supermarket and she runs the register. Love the scanner that beeps! Adorable!
