Q: Ok, this is from a "grass fed" beef, but is it also "grass finished"?

Hi, Grass fed and Grass finished! The cattle never receive any grains whatsoever. They are grazed from pasture to pasture on rotating schedule. This prevents overgrazing and insures that the cattle have ample grass. Each pasture is allowed time to regrow before the cattle are rotated back to a particular pasture. Q: Is it from pasture raised cows?

Yes. It's supposed to be 100% grass fed. It wouldn't make sense to bring the grass to the cows, smarter and more efficient to have the cows on the pasture.

Q: Can this be used to make lotions?

L.,Our high quality tallow will produce lotions and soaps with a correspondingly high quality.Until recently, the only tallow available for use in lotions and soaps was the inferior tallow bulk rendered from scrap and bones and though still considered edible, is extremely low quality.But, with high quality tallow back in the kitchen, it's once again available for making truly high quality soaps and lotions as well. Making a win-win situation, for our insides and our outside.
