Does the job better than anything I came up with
Bought this to do work on a 740il after I got tired of trying to force the spindle housing apart with more creative means. Does the job better than anything I came up with.

Time Saver And The Right Tool To Use When Needed
Used this tool on a old 2003 BMW 3 series for coilover install. In my opinion, this tool is a must have and isn't worth skipping over. Saves so much time and is the right solution for this job.

Totally worth it
It spreads the spindle easily making shock/strut removal a breeze. I wanted stiffer springs for my X5 M Sport and I saved 1000$ by doing the job myself. Always have your alignment checked by a pro after making suspension alterations.

Needed for changing VW suspension
Must have for changing front suspension on VW vehicles. Docked one star for the price as it is rather high for a 1/2" drive oval piece of hardened steel. However the job would have been very frustrating without it.

Does not work with BMW spindle
According to Schwaben this tool is compatible with all BMW models, however, it is too small for the spindle on a 2015 F30.

great tool, but does not work with my BMW ...
great tool, but does not work with my BMW e9x M3. it doesn't spread the spindle wide enough to take the strut out.
