If you have this in your carry on, they will look at you funny and tell you anything over 3.4 oz. Is not permissible. They might have you frisked and thrown in airport jail for not knowing a 4oz bottle is bigger than 3.4 oz. bottle. However, my experience is they let you throw it away or mail it to yourself. In that case, you get where you are going with insect repellant and your trip is ruined as you have bug bites on top of bug bites. If you put it in your checked luggage, then you are fine.

Q: The advertised produc states that it repels west nile, zika and dengue mosquitoes whereas the product i received only says west nile.

Dengue fever is caused by misquito bites and is common in south america by repelling misquitos you then avoid getting dengue and as simeine whose had dengue you want to avoid it
