Fits my gopro 8 as it should. Seems to be well built and snapped right on. Remember, using this will make the go pro not waterproof anymore. If its a potential issue i suggest using soft silicone putty sometimes used for earplugs to fill in the gap. It wont be waterproof but itll at least be splash resistant

I purchased this for my GoPro and it attached easily. It is made of good quality, not flimsy plastic. This is the side door for the battery and memory card side.

fit my gopro 8, but tricky to get on. I still have not got it on correctly. it stays in place as long as the door is close. falls off when opened.

Stumbled on this by accident and truly glad I found it! Using my GoPro for Game Changer, I was constantly having to take off the side piece to get access to the charging port so my camera would stay charged. With all the field dust blowing around and the occasional rain shower, the battery was constantly exposed.This replaces the OEM side cover and leaves the USB-C port accessible while protecting the battery!I used this all spring without an incident and without losing/misplacing the piece as I did before buying this.It clips and locks in place just like the OEM piece and comes off just as easily!Just have to remember to put the OEM piece back on anytime the camera is subject to being in water as the charging port is exposed otherwise.

After many months of suffering the original GoPro door coming loose and falling off, it finally got lost completely (probably the same place all those missing socks are!).I found this Soosun after-market replacement and here is another aftermarket product for GoPro that is better than the original!.If you can live without the so-called "waterproofing" of the camera, this door is a great replacement.I mention this because it has an opening that allows the USB to be accessed with a permanent opening when the door is closed.For me, this is a much better solution the solid OEM door as now I can power the camera externally and not have to worry about the exceedingly short GoPro battery life.The door is held on strongly and doesn't slip off easily as the original door did....kudos for that!The cost is a lot for such a small item, something like 5% of the cost of a new camera, but I could not find a less expensive solution and it is competitively priced to other replacement doors.Conclusion: Easy decision to buy this replacement.

The ease of opening my GoPro battery door is what I needed and now I got it, thank goodness. Very convenient and easy to charge my battery.
