Plays any game well, cool, and quietly.
I upgraded to this 4090 from my EVGA 2070 super. This is my first Zotac product, so I initially had some anxieties. Those fears were unfounded, though. The Zotac Amp Extreme Airo has almost no coil whine, and the fans only make any noise under very heavy load. Even then, they are not particularly loud. Thanks to the large cooler, and this is a very big card, the GPU stays very cool at all times. It plays any game I throw at it without breaking a sweat. It also looks very cool in my case. I highly recommend the Amp Extreme Airo :)

Fast - a monster - needs every bit space you can offer
This monster did not fit into my full tower case until I removed its drive bays, and I have a huge case. I ended up getting a different 4090 and put this into another machine, because I was just swapping things around for the best experience and I had to remove my nvme adapter from the next x16 slot to fit this. The new 4090 gave me enough room to put my nvme adapter back in.There's nothing wrong with this card, it's a beast, it's fast, it can over clock but what's the purpose when you gain a few percent, if that. It'll SD at 30 it/s at least. If it were not for the pretty decorating plastics I would be 100 percent ok with this, but I'm not a hard core gamer and I don't have a window on my computer for a light show. It works and works great and that's all that's needed. It does come with the adapter, in case you were wondering, I was. So you can plug 4 pcie cables into it, make sure you DO have 4... seriously, don't skimp on this and do a search on these things melting of you don't cable it properly or you don't have the newest ATX standard PSU. Be careful of the new ATX PSU you buy if you need to fortify this GPU, because some come with a dual, or quad, modular out setup into the 16 pin connector, which seems kind of skimpy to me so I got one that made sense, 16pin to 16pin on both ends.

First and last Zotac product that I’ll buy.
This is a 1700 dollar piece of garbage. It plays games really well. It does everything else REALLY bad.It has a frequent red flashing of the LED lights if you have an MSI motherboard. You can change the bios to quiet and it will just randomly flash blue instead of red. I figured that I would just use this card with my Asus motherboard PC and it stopped doing this, but see several people online that have only 1 computer and are stuck with this issue.I tried their software for changing the LED lights and it was a completely buggy mess. It took awhile to just turn off all the LEDs because the software is so buggy it will set it to something else instead of off.The worst part? My motherboard bios will not show up on a clean boot. It also will not always show on system restart from Windows. I can get to the bios on Windows restart, but never on cold boot after shutting down the system.I paid about 1700 dollars for this mess. It really upsets me that Zotac sells this piece of garbage for 1700 dollars.

Productivity Monster
This big boy is a productivity monster! I use it mainly for machine learning training, video rendering, stable diffusion, and playing highly demanding games.Performance in all those categories are top notch. Maintains max frame rates in games. Renders videos in davinci resolve super quickly. Can run stable diffusion server, and even run ChatGPT locally (inferencing)!Only downside is huge upfront cost. But ada lovelace is energy efficient compared to ampere architecture so you save money long term also. Coil whine is minimal. Temperature maintains below 70C at high workload. GPU is heavy so I recommend vertical mount to distribute weight.Highly recommend if you have a big budget and want the best consumer GPU today. Oh did I mention that Zotac 4090 looks like a spaceship?

Beast of a GPU
This Zotac amp xtreme version of RTX 4090 is one of the premium RTX 4090 you can buy in the market, runs very cool, temperature barely exceeds 64-65c under heavy RT enabled games, never heard any fan noise, I specially undervolted this card to keep it cooler and gain more performance than stock with less power. The design of this card is nice with lots of curve than box type design on the other cards. My only concern was the big cooler might interfere with the M2 SSD heatsink but it didn't since I used a low profile M2 heatsink that solved the problem. Overall you cant go wrong with the zotac amp 4090 and highly recommended.

Beware of Faulty Cards
The media could not be loaded. Edit-November 6, 2023Received a replacement card from Amazon. It has been working without issue for 3 weeks now. Gotta say, the performance on this thing is awesome, but what's truly awesome ate the thermals! This card rums so cool and NO coil whine! It's super quiet! My Zotac Airo Extreme RTX 4090 worked beautifully for about 5 days before it started crashing due to the infamous nvlddmkm.sys driver error. I've troubleshooter in all ways known to address a driver issue, but in the end, nothing worked. The card is getting sent back and I hope the next $1700 GPU doesn't put me through this hell again. Not sure if this is a Zotac issue or Nvidia, but please be careful when purchasing these cards.

It is a fantastic card
Update: Now I've been using it for over a year and I have never had an issue with it and the performance has always been great. All my settings in any game VR or non-VR has always been at maximum details and at 4K resolution and this card took care of it all. I'm very pleased and I can honestly say this brand is just underestimated.==========I've been using it for couple of weeks with heavy rendering as well as gaming. The look is fabulous, leds look terrific, it's almost noiseless and performs just like a 4090 would perform. So far I would definitely vouch for this brand. In future I don't know but so far so darn good.
