This is a vga adapter right? why do the pictures show some kind of soundbar?

The seller must have put up some wrong pictures recently. When I purchased it, those soundbar pictures were not on the product page.

Hi there. does this adapter work with an hp monitor that has vga?

I'm using this with a Dell USB-C docking port driving an older 1920x1200 24" with VGA for non-gaming. Works great. This was the only solution that would support 1920x1200...DP to DVI was limited to 1920x1080 for whatever reason. I had one of these laying around, used it, worked great, bought a spare just in case I needed another elsewhere. Never figured out the DP to DVI limitation...no need with this.
