There aren't enough reviews with details on this item, so I thought I'd provide one. My daughter broke her arm, so this is a great solution for bathing. She is 55" and 67 lbs- we bought the XS and it fits great. My daughter is 9.5, on the petite/slim side for age. No water intrusion even during showers (also used for bath, but she keeps her arm mostly out of tub in that case). It does fit very snugly, so I can't imagine it would be comfortable to wear in excess of 20-30 minutes. In order to put it on, you will need someone to help open the end where you insert arm (in this case, me or dad, but I have no clue how someone living alone would do it).My only complaint has nothing to do with product, but with shipping. This item should be available for same-day delivery, as it's kind of an important piece of the puzzle when your kid unexpectedly breaks their arm. Also Amazon's 2-day delivery is 3 days, more often than not, as of late. I'm in a major metro with multiple distribution centers, so it's not as if we're in a remote rural area.

My daughter fractured her wrist early in spring. We were bummed because we have a pool and take part in a lot of outdoor water activities. I found this on amazon and it's a game changer. She was able to take mostly normal baths (we still tried to keep her arm out of the water as much as possible) and even played on our slip and slide. It keeps their arms and hands mostly dry. It does make her arm hot so I notice some condensation on the inside, but not enough to make her cast wet. It's a great product for helping get through a few weeks.

This worked AMAZING on my 7 year old daughter. She broke her arm & had a cast and this was literally a life saver to help with bath time without it getting wet. I looked up the info on sizing before purchasing. We purchased the 2XS, for sizing, she’s very thin & on the longer side & had a half forearm cast. It stretched awesome over the cast and wasn’t too tight around the actual arm. Very durable & easy to use!!! Easy to dry after usage also and doesn’t get too nasty.

Unfortunately this is the second time I’ve bought this product for my 2 year old. Last summer we used it after a broken finger so he could swim and take baths. This summer he broke his arm and we tried two different brands one from Amazon and one from Walgreens and he screamed because they were so tight. I reordered this one and he loves it. Fits his arm perfectly and keeps the water off his cast during bathtime. Great quality, easy to put on by myself and best of all my toddler doesn’t mind wearing it.

This worked really well for what we needed; which was mostly for bath time for my 5 year old. If you're wanting to go swimming with it, I would try not to purposefully put the arm under water; it's not made for swimming/jumping into a body of water, but it worked well for our boat ride and quick dip in the lake. Highly recommend.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Bought this for or for year old after he broke his arm. Originally used in the shower which worked great. For the 4th of July put it on so he could play with the water balloons with the other kids. He ended up falling in the lake (had a life jacket on as a safety precaution and was told not to go down to the dock) and his cast remained dry despite being submerged for a moment. Definitely recommend

Got a large for our 7 year old. Definitely too big. Works great first time or two but there is definitely moisture getting inside now. Better than nothing but wish it worked better.

This product was fantastic, however it did not work for us. My daughter broke her elbow and wrist and we were looking for a solution for bathing. This product showed up and we were very optimistic.Pros:1. Material is very durable2. Leeks seem very unlikely - this thing is tight which is perfect for water protection. It is hard to get on, but that’s what you need when protecting a castCons1. Difficult to get on2. Limited size - her cast elbow bend was way too big for this, we could not get it around the cast. This probably works better on a cast that does not include an elbow. It is a full arm cover but I think it would work better on a cast without a bulky elbowWould definitely recommend for someone with a less complicated cast shape!
