Adds a spicy, flavorful touch to BBQ wings

Not sure why this is so difficult to find but this wing sauce is delicious! I love to do it on chicken legs in the air fryer. Lots of flavor!

This is rustic, old world stuff, evoking centuries of authentic Mexican cuisine while somehow still presenting as startlingly fresh and wholly its own - even in a world deluged by niche chicken wing sauces.Observations: (1) The spice blend is complex, and timelessly rooted in historically Hispanic flavors: The bright acidity of lime and vinegar are counterpointed by beautiful proportions of cayenne, arbol, and piquin, all underpinned by restrained cilantro. (2) The flavors transform throughout a uniquely long finish. (3) Sticks to a chicken wing like a true wing sauce should, and caramelizes under heat to a wonderfully sticky crisp.What could improve? Cholula offers both their red and green hot sauces in a behemoth 64-ounce jug, and so should they too with this Mexicali Wing Sauce, as tons will likely be used with each wing preparation. Like the original and this. Very tasty on tacos and tortillas with cheese, onion etc.

It's deceptive, when rating any sort of "hot" sauce, one expects that "hot' will be a significant part of the equation. One of the most attractive things about the entire Cholula line to me is that it's not really hot at all. It's all about the flavor, not the heat.This particular product, the Wing Sauce, is deep and luscious. I don't like wings or fried chicken myself.Yes, it's a wing sauce, I know but I don't use it for that. i use it for Mexican food in general, in deviled eggs,soups, sandwiches, in fact in a lot of things that can use a tang and an interesting note that gets friends and family asking "What did you put in this? This is really tasty!"It's really difficult to find the Wing Sauce. I happened on it by chance and then couldn't find it anywhere.Major Supermarkets don't carry it. Wal-Mart, Costco, Target, you name it, no dice. Amazon does but even Amazon is usually out of stock. A "High demand" item they say.Now why would one go to all the effort to track down this particular item when all the aforementionedretailers have shelves groaning with selections aplenty of various hot sauces? Why indeed?It's because it's worth it. The deep spicy taste is delectable. Give it a try. Get an extra and give the extraone to a friend that you value.It's that good.

This is a great wing sauce. If you want something different than buffalo sauce this stuff should be your next choice! It is really good on wings...used on eggs, chicken salad, and even in bloody mary drinks.

This sauce is delicious for wings. We were having a get together and came across this sauce and gave it a shot. I'm glad I did because everyone loved it. Will definitely be buying more.

Delicious, with moderate heat from the perspective of a regular hot sauce eater. Among the tastiest hot sauces I’ve ever had; it’s supposed to be for wings but it’s good for more.
