Firstly, the birds are not scared and do not fly off. Secondly, one gust of wind and the bird flew off so it’s now broken and of no use what so ever - didn’t even last a day outside. A complete waste of money. Would not recommend

Love it, pigeons don’t mwaaa ha ha haStops em pooping everywhere and it’s quite relaxing to watch, I like it.Will it last hmmmm not sure, it’s quite cheaply made with poor string and metal clips. So far it’s lasted some strong wind gusts.The kite and pole are well made it’s just the string and small metal connector that look a bit suspect.I had some paracord so replaced all their skinny strings with that and it still flys well.I could get better metal connectors too if I looked online I bet but for now they seem ok. I suspect their’s will be rusty or fail within a year as it’s very thin.But it works , it flies around and keeps off other birds wot poop everywhere so I like it.

Well they do say pigeons are very intelligent creatures. Bought this device to stop pigeons 'dropping' on to my car below the overhead line where they like to rest. Worked for about a week but now 'business' is more or less back to normal. Not the device's fault but this clearly isn't a long-term solution. Device has lasted well in a relatively protected area and certainly looks good. Pity it doesn't work.

After a day of use , due to the strong wind , The eagle kite string broken and flew off far away and hung on the tree . Not able ti get it back . The rod on the lower part detached and not able to reconnect . For your information, I tied the string to the kite using the prescribed method and tightly . But at night the strong wind just broke it .

I am finding that I have to keep going out and untangle the string from the pole, is there something I can do to stop this doing it?

I bought this to scare away rabbits in a lavender patch we have. It seems to be working ok. It also has the advantage of frightening away the crows which is a bonus for us, flies easily, does not get tangled, very pleased with purchase

I ordered this for a friend who is having an issue with seagulls. When it’s put into the ground the seagulls fly over it not scared at all my friend then put it on the roof as he thought if it’s higher they might get scared from it that’s definitely not the case they sat across from it until the string snapped and can no longer be used. I wouldn’t recommend this for trying to keep seagulls away definitely doesn’t work. If you fancy running up and down the street with a big pole attached to a kite for whatever reason this is for you.
