Well designed, perfect fit. Gives two cold shoe mounts to add lights or other accessories. There is easy access to the batter door and unlike the GOPRO media mod case, you can change memory cards and batteries without removing the case.The unit comes with a battery door allowing charging access or provides a usb port for the GOPROaudio connection. Unfortunately you can’t charge and. Attach the audio at the same time as both use the same single usb port.The clip on audio connection holder works very well however, I found that without the GOPRO audio unit, keeping the case on the GOPRO, TENDS TO AFFECT THE AUDIO QUALITY OF THE ON BOARD GOPRO built in mic, it produces strange results.

Fits my go pro 12 just fine. I like the extra attachment points for lights and microphone. Lots of thought wnet into making this.

The media could not be loaded. The base works great — it fits my GoPro Hero 9 perfectly. I can easily open the side door to connect the USB-C and plug in a microphone. In my case, I use it for vlogging, and it works flawlessly. Highly recommended!

It works to house your GoPro audio adapter, gives it a nice slot to rest into...One issue is on hot days it doesn't give the GoPro much room to breathe which is already a bit of an issue.Cold shoe mount is a nice touch and it's easy enough to access battery door while the case is on the camera.Overall pretty good.

This one simply checks off all the boxes for what I need for a vlogging cage for the hero 9. Yes it’s not metal, but that has it’s advantage.- Lightweight but still sturdy- Removable Mic Adapter Cage- Preferred Mic Adapter location on bottom- Max Lens Mod or Anamorphic Lens Compatible- Accessible battery/sd card door without having to unmount or remove your gopro.- Cold shoe mounts for both light and mic- Great Price!Skip the others, just get this one.

The media could not be loaded. This ruined the sound on the videos (see my uploaded video) that were recorded after putting it on. We have a GoPro Hero 10 which we use to make videos on our YouTube channel S & S and the RV Cats. We have a few days worth of footage that won't be able to be used, unfortunately, because this housing causes the sound to fade in and out. Now I have to return it and find something else to hold the light that I want to use. If it hadn't messed up the sound, it would have been okay. The sound wasn't messed up through the whole video as you can see in the video I've uploaded but it is still something that makes the housing not useful.
