LG Tone Free FP8 - very good for music, excellent for audiobooks
I love the LG Tone Free FP8 earbuds. My priorities are very good sound, long single use battery life, comfort, app support, and feature set.The earbuds fit and stay in my ears comfortably. They are so comfortable that often I forget that I am wearing them. The earbud touch functions work well with click tone verification of each touch. Since I mostly use bluetooth earbuds to listen to audiobooks (at least four hours per day), comfort, battery life, and functionality in mono mode are the highest priorities for me. For functionality, skip back (prev track) is a must have for listening to books. Being able to set skip back on both earbuds so that I can swap earbud use is important.I highly recommend these earbuds because of the feature set. I own dozens of bluetooth earbuds (Samsung, Soundcore, Earfun, Sony) and the most used are the Tone Free and Sony neckband earbuds. The separately purchased silicone case accessory makes carrying the earbud case very accessible. The FP8 is identical to the FP9 except for the wireless charging / wired bluetooth.Pros:Long battery life normal 9 to 10 hours as manually tested.ANC mode hi low optionAmbient mode hi low optionApp (IOS and Android) control of LG earbudsEarbud fits well in my ear, can stay in overnight while I sleepSingle earbud use allows full configure of pause, fwd/prv, volume up/down.Small pocketable case - good silicone cases available on Amazon, keep FP8 case closed while hanging from my belt loop.NanoUV disinfection featureWireless charging of earbud caseGreat bass and other eq, including two custom eqBeep on each earbud touch unless TouchPad settings are disabledGreat for audiobook, podcast listening due to great single earbud use. All earbud touch settings work in mono mode.Less expensive than Apple Airpods, Samsung buds, Sony xm4Battery life of earbuds in one percent detailVery light earbudsGreat 5 minute charge for 1 hour featureLow latency game modeAuto pause when earbud removed from ear disable optionVery easy to re-pair to new deviceConsAbout one and a half additional charges from fully charged case based upon manual testing.

Long lasting battery life and can take a surprising amount of abuse.
I'm not exactly an audiphile but as far as I can tell the sound quality is stellar. I use them with the 'immersive' setting in the android app and they sound great with no need to equalize/tweak further. Better bass than any other earbuds I've had and the treble and mids also come through clear without any muddiness.Like any earbuds of this style you do lose a lot of the bass if they are not nestled snugly in both ears so bear that in mind if that sounds uncomfortable. And maybe if you are unlucky the 3 options of silicone tips they come with might not cover the best fit for you.Range and battery life are great. I use them frequently through the work day and after 1.5 years they still get a good 8 hours on a full charge. The noise cancelling is alright but not spectacular. Muffles everything a good bit but doesn't completely block anything out. Good enough though to turn an annoyingly loud sound from a nearby AC unit or dishwasher into a low hum that you forget is there once you have some music on.I bought my pair a year and a half ago and abused the crap out of them. Dropped them on hard surfaces from a decent height at least 20 or so times. They fit snugly enough to not fall out easily but I'll do something stupid like whip off my winter hat or start shaving or something and forget they are there until I knock one out. After a large number of drops the plastic shells on each have cracked and started to split at the seam, but a little careful application of super glue to seal them back up worked like a charm and they are still going strong.

Here's a full review on the fp8's
So, to start off I came from a pair of Galaxy buds plus and in my opinion those were great earbuds, but it was time I got something with noice cancelation. So first, the sound quality is Great in these. It has nice bass but not too much to where it drowns out the mids and highs. I enjoyed the immersive sound stage. It balanced the highs well and kept the vocalists upfront and clear with good bass. And as for the comfort, as YouTube reviewers and others have said. These are really comfortable earbuds. Now personally I don't find them comfortable to sleep with but yours ears might feel different. I didn't find any discomfort with the earbuds or problems with them falling out even on a run.And as for the interface, it was pretty good. The touch controls on the earbuds are great, but I seem to have a problem with the app to where it sits there and loads and then when I open it back up it works again. But that could be fixed in an update. The one gripe I have for the interface is that when you are using only one earbud you cannot use the ambient mode. You must have both earbuds out of the case to use it. And as for the quality of the ambient mode, it was really good in my opinion. I could clearly hear everything with out a hissing noise from the mics. It does pick up wind noise but that is to be expected on a pair of earbuds usually. And finally what most people are interested probably, the noice cancelation. Now I have never tried air pods pros or any higher end ear buds with noise cancellation but I do think it did the job. Now when you activate it it does make the sound stage of the earbuds have a slightly warmer tone but it's not a drastic change. And i think the noise cancellation gets the job done pretty well. It definitely cuts down on the noise. Now it's not gonna blow your socks off but when I was in the gym it cut out basically all the lower pitched noises like dumbbells hitting the floor and such and softened the noise of the music they play and people talking. But once you have your music up you cannot hear voices and stuff like that at all really. So overall, I think they are pretty good earbuds. I know I will keep enjoying them and they will work well for what I do.P.s. these will work with iPhones. The app is on the play store and they should work perfectly fine with an iOS device.
