Feel better placing these between the candle and the holder. No more worries about my beeswax tapers dripping down onto the holder base or the table cloth/top below. There is a small gap between candle and the glass ring, so far no wax has dripped in there, but I guess that is the potential gap for wax. At least it would go onto the ring, which you can remove from glass, or into holder cup.

I love the square bobeches; slightly smaller than most bobeches and I was able to use these in many different candle holders. They are perfect for a square candlestick, blends in well - inconspicuous.Also work well with other shapes of candlesticks and votive holders.

I purchased these to replace some I had for years which cracked. They are fine, plain, but fine. The problem is that they came in an envelope with virtually no carboard or any bubble wrap to protect them. The minute I saw the package I knew and the distinct borken glass sound it made when I picked it up confirmed my suspicion. Two rings were broken. I tried exchanging them, but the replacement was 'unable to ship'. I ended up keeping the 10 that were not broken. For the $50+ price tag, it was not worth it. The shipping facility needs to wrap glass products properly and put them in cardboard, not flimsy plastic envelopes. Not impresed.

For avoiding melted wax all over the candlestick.
