Does a great job of eliminating the."empty" feeling in your stomach that gels and some energy bars do not. They definitely requires a few gulps of water while eating because it is very dry and can be hard to swallow. Texture is satisfying and they taste good.

Bland but not bad, the taste is passable -a C+ grade but...so sorry to see them discontinue the BEST bar ever (SIS GO Energy Bars)--those were an A++ taste, digestibility, texture just the best bar for long, over 45 mile rides, for me (older, ride hard, in heat in mid-days!). I MIGHT buy these lemon flavoured bars again but they seem non too interesting. Positive side, easy to digest sure, negative, I liked the previous product referred to here better for it's amazing mild yet interesting taste and more interesting texture and even better energy release (for me in the heat, going 'long'). Bring back the SIS GO Energy Bars guys please!!
