Product arrived quickly and was easy to assemble as well as works well, I find that when adjusting the height going upwards, I still have to climb a ladder and help steer the bar into channels , but only need a broom stick to lower.

well constructed , sturdy . Directions did bounce around but just follow per your application . It bounces around due to different types of mounting . All in All easy to put together . You will have an hour invested .My personal application was a wall mount above my 10 foot over head garage door on my pole barn . So I just cut a 2x12x14” long solid block and mounted it into the header framing above the overhead door using ( glue and 4 , 6” ledger lock lag bolts ) I trimmed the block out with vinyl J channel and then painted the treated 2x12 block black . I predrilled my 4 holes into my block that the adjustable mount would require to secure too . And when it came time to actually hang the basketball hoop I lifted it up onto my shoulder , walked it up the ladder and screwed it up using the provided 3 “ lags into my predrilled holes . So yes it can easily be done by yourself . If your not handy then get you some help . Overall nice product for the money .

It seems to work well and is sturdy enough. The basket has a bit of wobble, but I think that can happen with a lot of different mounts that are not fixed. Adjusting height is kind of difficult as you have to bare the weight of everything without any gas springs to assist. For the price, it worked well and wasn't hard to assemble. But I recommend scaffolding or something sturdy to stand on when mounting. There isn't any feature to hold the basket to the mount or mount to the wall while you bolt it in, so you just need some muscle to keep it in place while you tighten it down.

Bracket is not the simplest to put together but once you get it done, works flawlessly (so far).
