Greatly improved my energy levels
As a vegetarian, I am always looking for good quality, plant based alternatives. Bare Biology Vim & Vigour is a similar price to my usual Omega 3, but it seems to be much more effective.I suffer peri-menopause anxiety, fatigue and brain fog, but since starting the Vim & Vigour capsules 2 weeks ago, I've already noticed an increase in my energy levels and better clarity in my mind space. The tablets are a great colour, and as I take quite a few supplements together, I never get confused if I have taken them already as they are different to the usual colours of my tablets! The glass jar is an environmental win, the packaging is lovely and makes taking my daily supplements much more smiley! They are easy to swallow, and have a subtle aftertaste (that soon disappears). To top it all off, I love supporting small businesses.Highly recommend.

Plus, they look great on my bedside table, constantly reminding me to take my daily dose of goodness. As for the benefits, I've heard countless praises about the wonders of vegan Omega-3 and astaxanthin, and I'm already experiencing their positive effects after just a few days. From improved energy levels to enhanced well-being, Vim & Vigor is living up to its name.In conclusion, whether you're vegan or not, I recommend Bare Biology's Vim & Vigor Vegan Omega-3 & Astaxanthin. Contains Carrageenan
It’s very easy to outright trust ‘natural’ ‘organic’ ‘high brand’ products as being well meaning and containing no harmful ingredients. However, upon researching carrageenan I was surprised to read that it may be carcinogenic. It is widely used in vegan and natural products as a gelling agent (instead of gelatine) but is potentially harmful to the human digestive system. I would avoid this specific ingredient if I could and therefore cannot recommend this product.Alongside this, my wife didn’t feel as though they had much of an effect on her and at £35 is the most expensive supplement she’s had- we would never opt to spend that much. They are also quite large in size so may be a problem to swallow for some.

Feeling so good since taking these!!
You can tell that these are worth the money, after just a week of taking them I feel so much better. My focus has gone up massively and I am seeing even more great results. The capsules are easy to swallow too.I’ve struggled to find a decent omega 3 vegan alternative for a while, and was recommended these. I am so glad I was! The packaging and branding feels very expensive - I love a glass jar on the side rather than a cardboard box.I want to start checking out the other range form Bare Biology now!

A high quality vegan option - but at a price.
I have tried an awful lot of Omega-3 supplements over the years, but this one from Bare Biology is the first vegan option that I have reviewed.* The product's credentials and provenance are pretty impressive.* The capsules are of a deep red colour and although they are the same length as most fish oil-based Omega-3 capsules they are slightly slimmer, which makes them a little easier to swallow than many I have come across.* This supplement also has the advantage that there is no danger of having a fishy taste repeating on you throughout the day, which isn't always pleasant, even for non-vegans.* One of the key things to look for with regard to the Omega-3 supplements are the levels of EPA and DHA that they contain. Many products seems to represent good value at first glance, but don't actually deliver the level of potential health benefits that you think they might. Ideally, you should be looking for Omega-3 supplements that deliver a daily combined dose of around 1000mg of EPA and DHA .The suggested daily intake of this supplement is 2 capsules, which would deliver 250mg EPA and 500mg DHA, so a combined total of 750mg, which is good, but still a bit shy of the amount I would like there to be.* The manufacturer may argue that, in lieu of this shortfall, this supplement also contains 4mg of Astaxanthin. Astaxanthin is an antioxidant and is responsible for the pink colouration that you see in salmon and flamingos and it is reputed to have a number of potential health benefits, although there is still insufficient evidence to categorically support these assertions.**In any case, Astaxanthin should be avoided by children, pregnant women and women who are breastfeeding as there have not been enough reliable trials to ensure that it is safe for use by these groups.*** In terms of cost, this supplement certainly requires you to pay a price premium for this vegan option:* The best value fish oil-based Omega-3 supplement I have reviewed worked out at a mere 10p per day for a product that also delivered the ideal level of 1000mg of EPA & DHA. That said, I have also come across others that are considerably dearer at up to 50-70p per day.* Based on the current advertised price of £35.00 for 60 capsules and a recommended serving of 2 capsules per day, this Bare Biology supplement works out at a whopping £1.16 per day - and that is only for 75% of the ideal combined amount of EPA & DHA.So, in summary, this is definitely a high quality supplement - but you will be required to pay a heavy price premium if you want to take this vegan option.I hope you find these insights helpful.

Great to get vegan omega 3 easily!
I feel like since starting taking these I've seen a big improvement in my skin and nails. Not sure whether it's helping with my energy levels yet, though I have been able to start running since taking them so there may be some improvement and I will continue to take to see if this improves with time more. They are easy to take and aren't too big, don't have a particular taste or smell and haven't made me feel sick (which some supplements have in the past!) and are packed in glass and cardboard which is nicer than getting the usual plastic tubs of supplements. Makes it easy to know are getting a boost of the right vitamins where on some days I can be too busy to organise a completely balanced vegan meal!
