Amazingly Effective Brace
My husband lives with chronic pain. He experiences constant pain on the side of his knee and his knee that goes out frequently while trying to take a step. This brace has been a godsend. It helps to stabilize his knee so he can walk better. It has dramatically reduced the pain on the sore spot on the side of his knee. Because of this brace he is so much more comfortable all day.The brace has multiple straps and ways to attach them so it can be somewhat customized to the user. It also has multiple cushioning pads which can be moved around and placed to provide extra cushioning and comfort. There was a brief period of learning how to use it and where best to put the straps, but now he puts it on easily and quickly in the morning. He wears it all day with no discomfort. This is a high-quality, truly effective product, well worth the price. It actually has been rather life-changing.

Don’t listen to the bad reviews.
I’ve worn it for 2 months now as a server so I’m walking. A lot. All day. I tore some stuff in my knee and needed extra help but the little ones they give you weren’t doing the job. It’s easy to adjust. The silicone straps are nice but the impressions are terrible as always. Definitely buy a brace sock if you are wearing shorts. Some of the glue on the Velcro stickers for the padding peeled off but it’s not a big deal since it’s all strapped down and holds in place. If it’s that big of a deal go get double sided 3m gorilla tape and fix it for cheap. You will probably have to adjust it a few times to get it right. It will have to be adjusted on your leg a few times a day if you wear it all day since it will slip down from natural movement. The support is great. The pads for the kneecaps, definitely double or triple up and put them all together in the cap to get better support on the knee but easy enough to do. It’s lasted this long and it’s still going so it’s worth it in my book and if I wear this one out I’m definitely getting another. There is probably a better one somewhere that costs way more but this isn’t bad for the money.

Damaged on first use
First of all this brace looks intimidating to try to put on....extra pieces with metal attaching 'bits' and an actual screwdriver comes with it. The instructions are a bit nebulous so it took me a long time to try it out. July 5th 2023 actually, and I'd purchased it on May 8th of this year. I thought it was going to take the help of another to get it on and adjusted properly the first time. I decided to give it a try by myself this morning. The size is wrong for me, which I knew was going to be a possibility since I am short and also had polio as an infant, so the left leg is lacking in size in the calf muscle. That small calf muscle is the reason most braces won't work, they simply slide down toward my ankle. My physical therapist thought that this one would work for me. However, the bottom most oval 'button' that holds the metal slide for the strap to go through fell off immediately. I thought it was going to be able to slip back into place, but it's not. There are two miniscule posts in plastic that hold that oval over the metal strap adjuster and they were completely broken off, so no way for me to fix the issue. I can't see how the manufacturer could have expected those tiny plastic posts to hold up under the need to tug and tighten/loosen those thick straps over and over again. So while the brace looks and is very substantial in all other aspects that I can see, that little piece is definitely a significant design flaw. Too late to return it and I would gladly turn it over to someone else that the brace would fit properly, but that's not a possibility now.

A few things wrong but all in all a good brace
Fits perfectly, it does tend to slip down after a while as I work in a shop I'm constantly up and down. But it does support my knee like I need it to. It was easy to figure out how to put it on. It's a good design but I have to put silicone lubricant on the hinges several times cause of the squeaking and roughness. Other than a few little things it does what I need it to do so I'd say it's worth the money.

Doesn't fit
Item appears to be made well but unfortunately it doesn't fit me with my condition. I'm going to have to request a custom brace from my orthopedist.

It works...
It's never ever comfortable wearing braces. I was looking for a knee brace that supports a PCL tear (Torn back in 1993 & never repaired). I outgrew my old one that I've had for over 30 years. I was skeptical at first because of the price & would it really help, but hey? It's Amazon, I could return it if I wasn't satisfied. Well, it's not being returned. I opted for the largest brace because my thigh measures 24" & stand 6'. I walk majority of my life without a knee brace or assistance, but every once in a while... I'll hyper extend my knee unconsciously & need my brace to support myself. It's as comfortable as can be for a brace, but its purpose to support & bring some added relief is very good. It may seem complicated the first time you put it on, but you'll figure it out & get the hang of it.
