Thyme Herb - 8 Ounces - Dried Spanish Thyme Extra Fancy by Denver Spice

I had this shipped to my works since I’m there more. I rode up the elevator after getting it and the people in the elevator said wow..that smells sooo good and is strong! Yes, it's still in the plastic package which is inside yet another plastic shipping package. I opened it and wow. SOO much thyme and for the same price as a tiny little bottle at the store that's dry and dusty.I am SOOO happy, I ordered bay leaves from Denver Spice and am sure I will get any and all my herbs and spices there from now on.On a side note I've been going to Natural Grocers for years for my bulk spices. I've been trying to get Thyme since APRIL of 2016. Every time I went in for Thyme...ahem... The personnel at the store always assured me it's being ordered and should be in by the end of the week. I was patient and I also wasn't in a bind but by Dec. I was getting down to my last traces of thyme. By then I was going in nearly every week asking for it with the same response from their people including management.I finally wrote a complaint letter and got a response and a $15 coupon saying it would be in within 2 weeks. Nearly a month later they STILL did not have thyme!! I donated my $15 to a food bank so they could go pick up something that would never be ordered either and found Denver Spice.Even waiting due to free shipping it was still 1000% faster than Natural Grocers who...sadly still are out of time...er Thyme...Thanks DS for earning a new customer!! I will be spreading the word to avoid NG and shop only with you to all my friends, family and Chef friends!

Very fresh thyme, 8 ounces is a lot for the price, put half in a glass bottle and froze the other half for future use. Very aromatic with superb flavor. Much better quality/flavor than the thyme I was previously using, highly recommended.

This was the best value for thyme I've found so far and the quality seems good too. Very aromatic and flavorful.

Unfortunately I was looking for Spanish Thyme (as labeled), not Spanish imported thyme (as received). Fair product, nothing special.

I'm from Spain and I have been missing the flavor of Mediterranean thyme for a while now, so I bought this one.It came in a sealed bag inside another bag that said " product of India". So I am not so sure how Spanish this one is.Overall good strong flavor, much stronger than the one you find in the US, so be aware of it when using.

I use this not only for cooking, but also as a hair treatment. It can get very expensive from the grocery for the quantity I go through so I decided to give this a try. The quality of this batch is fabulous! It's fresh and very little seeds or stalks in the large bag. I picked it up in the morning on my way to work and my vehicle smelled delicious for days afterwards. Quite potent. Will use Denver Spice exclusively from now on.

Very very good flavor and smell

More stems and undesirable bits than I’d prefer, but an excellent aroma and a very agreeable price. I run most of my recipes requiring this herb through and herb grinder, anyway, so I’m not terribly bothered unless I’m in a hurry to just make some potatoes or grilled meats.
